Smile at me, your eyes on fire,
A quirky grin tugs at your lips
You smile and look at me, as if
I'll melt and come crawling back to you
I'm sorry, darling, but those days are through.You, smiling on that wire,
Your eyes ablaze with desire,
Don't seem to understand that I,
Have new wings and now can fly
Without you, and touch the stars on my own,
