Blackfire's Cry for Help

Robin cried as he walked home alone. He constantly gazed up at the glittering stars, hoping Star would return. She did not. The next day the Titans, now there being only 4 of them, packed up and headed back to the Titans Tower, which had been safely guarded by Titans East.

Nobody could consult Robin at all. Raven kept Beastboy under control by going out on walks with him to use up his flamboyant energy. Cyborg did his best to be a shoulder for Robin to cry on, but how could he? Star was Robin's everything, and now she was gone. Her room had been locked and her stuff sat inside the storage room in cardboard boxes. Silkie had  become Robin's pet, and it was the only living thing Robin had contact with for two weeks... Until....

Raven and Cyborg sat on the roof of Titans Tower, gazing up into space with a telescope Cyborg had built himself. They had hope they'd see signs of alien activity, hoping Star would be coming home. After sitting there for what seemed like hours, they saw a pink beam hurdling towards them. ''It's headed for the tower!'' screamed Cyborg. Before he and Raven could dash away, the pink ball of light crashed into the roof of the tower. In the midst of the destroyed roof stood Blackfire. She looked sad, as if some one had hurt her. ''Raven!  Cyborg! I need your help!'' she pleaded. ''Why should we help you!?'' demanded Raven. ''Please..it's about my sister.'' Raven and Cyborg got Robin and they all sat in the living room listening to Blackfire's tragic story.

''It happened less than two hours ago. Starfire had returned to Tameran, where Galfore and I had been sharing power of ruler of Tameran. She said she'd returned to stay for good, and she wished to rule, since it was her birthright. She ruled peacefully for a week or so until Tameranians started noticing weird space craft floating, empty near the planet. A week later, a new alien race declared war on Tameran. They looked human, but at will they could turn into these black goo creatures that could engulf people..'' Blackfire trailed off. ''Their ruler, Lord Magnus, made a deal. He wanted Starfire to rule as his queen. If she accepted, Lord Magnus agreed to take her and leave Tameran for good. But Star wouldn't go without a fight. But since only few Tameranians develop powers and strength like hers, we were defeated easily. Star was captured to be prepped for her wedding while Tameranians were murdered on the streets. Galfore took a few groups of surviving citizens to Celadon, a neighboring planet we have made peace with. I flew straight here so I could bring help. You Titans are Tameran's last hope. And you, Robin, are Starfire's last hope as well.''

Every Titan gasped. ''Titans, go!'' Robin yelled as they all hopped in the T-ship, Blackfire riding in Star's empty chamber. ''Where is Lord Magnus and Star?'' asked Robin through the speakers. ''Their home planet is Magnesium, a few hundred kilometers west of Tameran.'' Robin drove the ship as fast as he could. If he wasn't fast enough, he could lose his best friend and maybe even girlfriend forever.
