The Power of Friendship

Once there was a girl who always thought the world was just a tiny star, that everything surrounding the world was undiscovered. An endless adventure.

As she pursued this dream-like world, she grew into a child who had endless dreams and plans to achieve her dreams. People around her couldn't keep up with her, she raced through life like a lightning bolt. They couldn't understand her. They were afraid that she'd over take them. They did what they knew how to do. They shrunk her her down and locked her soul.

As her once colorful world turned into black and white, people never saw..... She hid the pain in her laugh, her smile, and in her eyes. While out in the open, she hid everything like she never changed. While she was alone, she let her thoughts overcome her, and she let it out in the ways she always did: Writing and music. She never shared any of her creations with anybody and hoped that her world would fill back with the color she longed for.

When people couldn't see through the act, they had keep pushing her down until she couldn't take it anymore. She didn't know what to do. She was a lost soul longing for something. She kept to herself and built walls that hid her from the world. They shielded her from anyone. She was like this for so long, no one ever really knew that what they did had harmed an innocent soul and made her become a soulless person.

One day her walls came crumbling down. Someone had managed to climb over the walls and see her for who she used to be. Someone had gone out of their way to enter her sheltered world. As the two become a duo, everything that hit them, had never harmed them.

One truly never knows the power of friendship until one is on the edge of breaking down.
