As soon as they stepped inside the maze, their bodies jerked like it had been pushed. Their eyes closed momentarily and then reopened, holding a darker shade. Charming's original light blue eyes were deep blue, just like Snow's.

The process could be exemplified as an alter ego - each one felt their emotions changing and instantly became the worst version of themselves, without even realizing it.

There was no difference if you were considered a hero or a villain. In the end, the curse would always prevail, no matter what you were.

The princess was side by side with her husband, without saying a word. She held her nose was up high and they walked as far away as possible from each other, trying not to make any contact with the maze's walls. The corridor was large enough for two people to walk side by side.

Snow held an air of superiority and disdain at every step she took, making David sigh in annoyance. The prince wasn't much better himself. His ego had been inflated as much as a Prince Charming's could be. He felt strong, powerful and impatient - his father would have been proud.

They reached a bifurcation and reluctantly stopped moving. "What now?" Asked the princess irritated.

"Now we choose a way and go." David responded, just as frustrated.

"Aren't you charming?" Snow murmured sarcastically.

David took a deep breath. "Let's go through the left way." He said firmly and turned around.

"No, we should take the right one." The princess disagreed. She held a mocking lint and a childish expression.

"The right one fells strange to me. Stop being stubborn, Snow. Let's go." David insisted.

"No, I want to go this way." The princess exclaimed, gesticulating towards the path next to her.

The prince let out an angry growl and lifted his hands up in a gesture of surrender. "I knew I should have stayed alone! All you do is complain." He yelled, his voice echoing through the vast maze.

Snow lifted her eyebrows in indignation. "I'm the one being annoying? How about your little comments all the time? Sometimes I still don't know what I've seen in you!" She yelled back.

"Oh, trust me. You're not the only one thinking like this, I have never met someone so irritating in my life!" David replied dryly.

"You do realize I'm the mother of your children, your highness?" Snow mocked.

"Well, who knows? Maybe they're Whale's!" David yelled in a response and stepped back.

In that moment, he though his wife would kill him. Her pale cheeks went pink with anger. "How dare you?" The princess exclaimed, stepping closer. "We were all cursed, and you were the one who had a fake wife!" Snow added. "You know what? I wasn't-" She halted her sentence midway, letting out an irritated sigh. Snow turned away and walked through the right path without looking back at her husband, deciding that any attempt of talking would just piss her off even more.

David growled in annoyance, but even if he was angry at his wife, he couldn't let her go alone. Reluctantly, the prince followed the brunette through the corridor she had chosen.

Hook had an evil smirk on his lips. The pirate moved through the long corridors with the sensation he was invincible. His leather jacket was slightly opened, just enough to show his collarbone and his precious collars. As he walked, the pirate studied his - oh how very sharp and pointy - hook.
