They all stood silent as Rumple did his magic trick. With the queen still unconscious, the Dark One moved her body until she laid next to the closest wall. He waved his hand, creating a couple of thick chains that were stuck in the cold wall. The shackles appeared magically on Regina's wrist and were combined to the chains, as if it was being magically glued, leaving the queen with her arms opened as she stayed half sitting and half laying on the floor.
Rumple had to silence the indignant thief, who had been forced to leave her side by David. Truth to be told, the Dark One had never seen the prince so angry. Nevertheless, it took both him and Hook to hold back Robin, who was apparently much stronger than the dark sorcerer initially thought.
Henry and the others stood a few steps behind Rumple as he checked if the shackles were really holding the queen back. Giving it a strong pull, he watched as Regina's hand moved, but the locker stayed in place. Perfect.
"I still don't understand the point of this." Emma said with a shaky voice, examining the queen with resentful yet worried eyes. The savior had one of her arms wrapped around her mother's waist protectively.
"You and I, Miss Swan, are the only ones in here who aren't effected by the Shattered Sight. As you know, this curse turns people into the worst version of themselves." Rumple stated, still looking at Regina.
"I know that, but what is the point of the whole imprisonment thing?" Emma questioned, uneasy.
"Don't you dare touch her." Robin threatened, still trying to get out of David and Hook's hold.
"Easy, mate. The queen is quite the devil." The pirate murmured as he and the prince fought the outlaw.
"Trust me, you won't make her do anything with small talk. We're dealing with the Evil Queen right now." The Dark One replied, turning to face the savior.
"You don't know that! Maybe we can make her see things clearly by talking?" Emma protested.
In response, Rumple showed her an icy smile. "I do know it, Miss Swan. Have you forgotten who mentored her?" He mocked. "I know everything about the Evil Queen, I practically created her." The Dark One added, turning slightly so he could look down at Regina.
"Why are you concerned about her?" David asked angrily, facing his daughter. "She almost killed your mother!" The prince exclaimed, furiously.
"I know, but this isn't the way we handle things! She is cursed! All of you are! Can't you see it's wrong? We can't treat her like an animal, we're supposed to be the heroes. Remember?" Emma said, stepping forward.
"Just do it, Rumplestiltiskin." Snow whispered with a quivering voice.
The savior looked at her mother with a horrified expression. "No, mom. You told me we had to trust her. You told me that even if Regina was a villain in this land, she had changed, and we owed her the benefice of the doubt." She stated, hoping Snow would change her mind.
"That was before she almost killed me. She is evil, Emma. You think you know her dark side, but you have no idea what she's capable of." The princess replied.
"You are not killing my mom, are you?" Henry asked in a worried tone.
"No, we're not. I promise you I won't let her die." The savior said firmly, hugging her son tightly.
"Before we begin, I'll explain what we have to do." Rumple said, earning everybody's attention. "The point in this, Miss Swan, is to make Regina feel something so deeply that we can reconnect her with her humanity." He explained.
