The corridors started to get larger, like they were all going to connect into one huge circular room. Some of the people, like Will and Peter, were still confused on how the many interlined paths worked, but the great majority of them had already accomplished to find at least one trustful way to travel through the maze.

They didn't know how much time had passed, but the sun was already setting again.

Exhaustion found its way into the soared bodies of the unique group of travelers. A slight irritation giving their apparent state of hunger made the adventure even harder to keep up.

Emma was already blinking heavily, and she was quite surprised that her son was still on his feet. They had been walking for ages and he had never complained about this specific topic. It was her who broke first, giving in the need of at least get some sleep.

"I think we should rest, if we keep this up we won't be able to cope anymore." She murmured under a tired breath.

"I thought you would never say it." Henry commented, sitting down with an annoyed 'humf'. "I can't feel my legs!" The boy protested, pouting slightly.

The savior couldn't help but smile a little. Now her son was looking more like himself.

Killian followed the boy, moving to sit down. The pirate rested his head on his unhooked hand and closed his eyes.

"You okay?" Emma asked her son, sitting down next to him.

"Hungry." Henry answered without even bothering to look up.

The blonde heard Hook's soft chuckle and frowned as her stomach complained as well. She closed her eyes, suppressing the nervousness that hit her as soon as the idea invaded her mind. Emma took a deep breath and straightened her back, flipping her hands up.

The other two men watched her with puzzled expressions, but they instantly changed into happy ones as soon as three sandwiches appeared in a big plate in front of them.

At the feeling of a cold metal on her hands, the savior opened her eyes and smiled brightly. "I did it!" She exclaimed cheerfully.

Henry reached out and picked one of them, quickly taking a big bite of it. The boy frowned and withdrew the sandwich out of his mouth, looking at it with disappointment.

"What?" Emma asked, her smile fading immediately.

"You better work on the ingredients' quality next time." Henry murmured, taking another bite of the food reluctantly.

The blonde looked at Hook, who was also eating it, doing his best not to make a disgusted face. "Is really that bed?" Emma asked, exasperated.

"It's not bad, love." The pirate murmured, slowly swallowing the food in his mouth.

"Liar." Henry whispered.

Emma rolled her eyes and grabbed her sandwich, taking a big bite of it. It couldn't be that bad. However, after a couple of seconds, she made a disgusted face. It tasted like old bread and burnt meat. "Sorry for that." She managed to say between bites.

"Well, I rather eat this than stay hungry." Hook commented.

"Yup." Henry agreed.

Sighing, Emma continued to eat her food, making a mentally reminder to have Regina helping her with the whole magical cookery abilities.
