Bean's parents let all her friends (including May and Summer) spend the night. Katie decided during supper that tonight she was telling Peter how she felt and that she didn't care what Bean thought or did, she couldn't keep hiding how Peter made her feel. She walked to the basement, where Bean's room was, and sat next to Peter. She second guessed her choice but before she could stop herself she was telling Peter how she felt. Peter looked into Katie's hazel eyes, realizing she meant what she was saying.
Ryder had been thinking about how Bean yelled at him earlier, he knew he had it coming but he didn't understand what he thought about it: maybe I'm stupid. Bean isn't like Meldey. I love Meldey, not Bean
He kept telling himself that over and over again. He eventally called Meldey a told that he was sorry but it was over. He went downstairs and joined Katie and Peter. Bean was in the kitchen, making ice cream form them all. Summer, May, and Bean came down stairs with six bowls of ice cream. The two little girls sat on the couch, and ate there ice cream. The others sat on the floor. Peter asked Katie to be his girlfriend, right there in front of everyone!!
Ryder looked over at Bean, his big dark brown eyes taking in every aspect of her body. He stared thinking about how much he loved her. He decided to give it a few more days before he made a move
