As Ryder and Bean walked down a row of graves, Bean felt bad for these people, even though she didn't any of them. Ryder froze in his tracks, he pushed Bean behind him. He didn't want her seeing what he had saw. "Bean go to the car. Now please." She did as she was told and went to the car. Ryder ran towards Mr. Anderson's grave. There was a piece of a paper setting neatly folded under a rock, he half way expected to see Peter on the ground. He looked around for anyone but no one was there but him. He walked back to the car, disappointed he hadn't found Peter. He got to the car, expecting to find Bean waiting for him but she wasn't there. He got worried, till he saw the hill near where he parked the car. Bean was running towards the hill, Ryder decided he better fallow her.
The two reached the top of the hill, and saw Peter standing there. His eyes swollen and red from crying. Bean tried to give him a hug but he backed up. He looked between his two friends standing in front of him, not knowing what to say or do. "Bean... is she okay? I hope she's not dead.. I love her, she's my everything." He started crying again, Bean began crying as she gave him a hug. "If Katie dies it will be all my fault. Bean what do I do if she's dead. I can't lose her." Ryder came up behind Peter, he told Peter to go the hospital with them to see her. As the three walked down the hill and to Ryder's car, Ryder began to think that maybe he should he confess about what he did to Peter's parents. By the time they got to the car he decided it was a bad idea since Peter was all ready upset and stressed out about Katie.
They drove the hospital in complete silence.
