Ending part 8: Chazz

Chazz:
You and Chazz had so many special moments together. Little special moments that you would keep in your memories. After you both graduated from Duel Academy, you went on to the pro leagues. Chazz became a professional duelist and managed to make dueling his profession. You worked hard and got your dream job. Chazz came from a rich family and could've easily lived off the money they had without getting a job but he didn't want anything to do with his family. Chazz asked you if you wanted to live together (looking away blushing of course) and about 2 weeks later you and Chazz lived together in a good sized apartment. It was easier to spend time with each other and you got to learn little things about him, like he sucks at knitting. Once he tried to bake cookies on your birthday but he over baked them so they were stuck to the tray. You once found a journal that he kept when he was in Duel Academy and you HAD TO read it of course! Almost on every page there was something about how annoying Jaden, the 'slifer slacker', was. There were mentions of you from time to time in the book but only things such as 'The slifer slacker ran into her. Stupid idiot.' It made you feel a twinge of disappointment but when you got to the last page there was a giant heart drawn and in it said your name.  Chazz was very confused when he came back and you hugged him so tightly. Chazz got to see many sides of you that he never saw before such as you sobbing over a fictional character that died. Chazz had to sit there as you ranted and cried. Chazz didn't really see why you were crying but he awkwardly held you and awkwardly comforted you.

Sometime later Chazz started seeing you differently.  Whenever he held you when he would intertwine his hand with yours, he found himself staring at your ring finger as if something should be there. The next day Chazz walked into a store and had something be custom made just for you. After you and Chazz ate at a restaurant, you walked around. Chazz didn't talk as much as he usually would which didn't bother you but his mind was elsewhere and he seemed more tense. He finally stopped walking and grabbed onto your hand with one hand while the other was shoved into his pocket.

"Y/N," he says looking down for a second before looking directly at you. "We've known each other for a while and I gotta say...you're different. Unlike the other idiots that were in the academy, there was something about you, maybe it's your stupidity at times or just you yourself. You're a special one and I think," Chazz pauses and gets down on one knee while pulling out the box he has been grasping in his pocket. "it's time your officially mine." By the time Chazz finished you stood there in shock and happiness. It took a moment for his final words to register into you but you grinned and said yes. Chazz hugged you tightly and slipped the ring on your finger.

Chazz had a fortune he inherited from his parents though this was after Slade and Jagger took their shares but there still was quite a lot left. Chazz was prepared to have this grand wedding but you managed to get him to tone it down a little and just have a wedding you both enjoyed. To Chazz's 'disappointment' you invited Jaden who brought along his girlfriend. Jaden was so happy at the reception when the bouquet hit Jaden in the face. Thanks to that he was able to start thinking about marriage. Marriage life for you and Chazz didn't seem much different but the life you had before. The only difference was that it seemed to deepen your bond and make you both happier. Though what made you both happy was when you found out you were pregnant. You weren't sure how Chazz would react since he never brought up the topic about kids before but you knew he was good with them and this encouraged you to tell him.

"Chazz I'm pregnant." Those words echoed in Chazz's mind multiple times after you told him. With each passing second you lost your confidence and wanted to run into your room and hide. Chazz instead smirked and hugged you.

"I'm glad. We can start a family- and make it better than the one I had." What Chazz wasn't prepared for though was pregnancy cravings, complaints, and stress. When it was near the due date your complaints and whining got worse. Chazz would get frustrated and would want to just go sleep, but whenever he saw your budging stomach and imagined your future child-it was all worth it. When your water broke Chazz froze. He stood there in shock as you yelled and screamed at him to take you to the hospital. He wasn't fazed until you through a parenting book at his face. Chazz then rushed you into his car and drove quickly. He was stressed but happy because hours later the cry of a baby, his baby, was heard. His baby was so beautiful and fragile. He/she was like glass. Chazz stood away from his child, afraid that if he touched him/her, he/she would shatter. You eventually forced Chazz to hold your child. Chazz cradled _____ Princeton and rocked him/her gently in his arms. To Chazz, nothing else in the room was there, it was just him and his baby, his life, his world. Everyday Chazz came to visit ______ and always brought gifts. He took tons of pictures of _____ and would give her gifts. However, he didn't play with her/him instead he left the gifts to her/him but never went near her/him. Chazz would stand over his/her crib at night, or whenever he comes home and look at his child. Chazz was silently afraid of his child being exposed to the world and it didn't help that Jaden visited. A lot.  Jaden would play with _____ and hold _____. You didn't mind because he was so good with him/ her but Chazz despised it. He would scowl at Jaden from afar and sometimes take _______ away saying he has to 'feed ____' or 'change _______'s diaper'. He wasn't amused however when ______ learned how to say 'slifer' before 'daddy'. _______'s first word was mom but _____'s next word was 'slifer' which made Jaden so happy but Chazz not so much. Though soon after _____ learned 'Daddy' and Chazz would say that he/she learned 'Daddy' before 'Slifer'.

_____ grew up and so did You and Chazz. You went through arguments, laughter, and moments that you keep in your heart and soul. Moments that you'll never forget and would reflect on. Chazz was a great father. He tried his best to give ______ so many memories to keep in her mind forever. He/she never truly realized what Chazz really did for  him/her whether it was get him/her a toy, set up the best birthday parties, or make him/her believe Santa was real. Chazz was truly amazing. Even as you both grew old and weak, he tried his best to be there for _____. Chazz trained his dueling skills and taught his child dueling. Though he didn't push _____ to towards dueling as a profession because he wanted him/her to do what he/she wanted. When _______ started dating Chazz wasn't too pleased. He did a background check on his/her date and made sure that they wouldn't do anything bad. When _______ got engaged Chazz was happy but he hid it with his calm and hostile demeanor.

Chazz couldn't take your death. When the news struck him it took weeks, for it to register into him. He never truly let go of you. When it was his time to join you he greeted death warmly and died happy..
