"Hi, I'm Jessi, with an "i" what's your name?"
I look at the redhead and answer dumbly "Lizzy." She continues rambling on but my thoughts are really preoccupied, with what my new "job" entails.
"I cant believe they are making us go to school! as in for real didnt we have enough of that back on earth?" -im Jessi with an "i"- says.
"Wait we're going to SCHOOL?!?" i look at her with horor, as in seriously the same way i would watch a horor movie when the weird human meat eater cooks a human hand or leg or something and then says it tastes like chicken!
"Well DUH! Why else would we be sitting at the reception of a building with thousands of dead teenagers rushing around with books."
i look at her with disgust "Well you didnt have to put it like that!"
"Sory nerves"
10 MINUTES EARLIER
“Are you freaking serious?” I look at the high council in shock.
“Yes actually we are, but don’t worry about it being dangerous seeing you are already dead.” The brown guy, Della I think laughs so hard at his own joke.
I grimace at him “yea, thank you for that.”
“do you want us to explain it one more time?” Aria asks gently.
“umm given the circumstances I really wouldn’t mind.”
“Okay, well Lizzy you are going to-in layman terms- kind of be a detective, like umm well on the movies you used to watch back on earth, Monk, or the mentalist man, or John Doe, except you will be so much better than all of them because you are an angel, well technically you will be a sesame seed
It finally hits me and for some reason I start laughing, I don’t know whats funnier the fact that they expect me to be a detective or the fact that Aria just said I am going to be like Monk. The High Council looks at me like I am crazy. “You know I have just realized something” I stop and breathe “I am dreaming, this-“ I turn around and spread my hands wide. “is all just a dream, everything that has happened since my-“ I put my first two fingers on each hand in a quote position, “death has all been one freakish dream or nightmare and any moment now I am going to wake up in my room.” I close my eyes “okay I have learnt my lesson like the three Christmas ghosts or whatever that movie was called where three ghosts came to that dude on Christmas eve. Anyway the point is I need to go home now!” I shout outloud.
Nalia looks at me quizzically, “isn’t it a little late for denial?” I open my eyes. Aria looks concerned but the two guys have amused smirks on their faces.
“Sssh” I tell her, “I am trying to wake up.”
“Umm sorry to break it to you hun, but your not asleep and your not waking up. this is all real and you just have to deal with it!” she tells me in that high voice of hers.
“Nalia you don’t have to be so harsh with the girl, she is having a hard time with this.” Aria scorns orange lady.
I sigh, this isn’t going anywhere, “Okay hold up, so what exactly does my-“ I put the finger quotes up “detective job entail?”
“Well for one you will be working on earth allot, and there are many of rules about it but do not worry about that it will come later. What you need to know is what your first job entails most likely it will be your hardest one so we will give a,” she pauses “well lets just say a helper or guide to help you learn the ropes.”
“okay well why is it so hard?” the council all look at each other.
“Because it involves your family.” Aria replies softly.
“What?!?” too many questions flash through my mind before I have time to choose which one to ask.
“Yes but before anything else, you will meet your guide\helper and go for a few classes to help you assess the situation and handle it properly.”
BACK TO PRESENT
“So you coming?” Redhead snaps her fingers in my face. “Earth to Lizzy! Hello?”
“HUH?! I’m awake, what?” I look around.
“I was just saying that class has started and we’re each being given our mentors at the end of class, lets go.” She pulls me up and towards a door written “CLASS 196.”
And that is where it began ladies and gentlemen the beginning of how all hell broke loose in my life or death, not literally because I don’t think that can happen in Heaven! ;p

HEY EVERYONE! Okay so I totally deserve to die for the late upload and I soo really hope you haven’t gotten bored and stopped reading I promise to try to do much better! My life has just been soo busy with so many changes recently like bff moving countries, getting into beef with some teachers, and moving schools! Yea hopefully there wont be anymore too soon. I really hope this chapter wasn’t boring the next one will be better if it is, please tell me what I can change or add, any helpful hints are okay, thanx guys!
P.S those who are back to jail- my bad-school for the next few months just remember your not alone and you will survive lol ;p
