“Hello everyone, my name is Veign but Ms. Veign to you lot.” the tall teacher- I assumed, looks at all the kids in the room. I look around me and notice that we are like ten in all everyone is soo different and im like the only half cast.
“Hi.” Jessi replies with like five other teens as the rest of the class just keeps quiet. Busy in their own little worlds, I guess who wouldn’t be?
“Okay so today since your all newly dead we will just do introductions, for you and your mentors then I will give you your assignments for the earthly week, is that fine with everyone?” she says it all without even blinking an eye and before giving anyone a chance to nod she continues. “Good. So why don’t we start with you young lady.”
I look behind me but I am sitting at the back. “Me?” I point at myself.
“No the other dead chocolate colored teenager behind you.”
“there’s no one behind me I chec- oh wait let me guess your being sarcastic.”
“Nooo am just pulling my words out for no particular reason.”
“Eish okay okay all you want to know is my name right? Its Lizzy”
“your full names please Einstein.”
“Okay Lizzy Sifa Williams happy?”
“Yes thank you.”
“Wow she’s worse than the teachers on earth are.” I whisper under my breath to Jessi as she moves on to torture the next kid.
“No kidding.” She smirks.
After all the students have say their names Ms. Veign turns her head to the door, “You can come in now.” A bunch of five girls and five guys come in who look not more than a few years older than most of us who are in the room. Ms. Veign continues, “these are going to be your mentors children, and maybe one day if your good enough will become your partners.” She pauses and looks at each of us for a semi-second. “You have all met the high council and they have already decided for each of you which mentor is right for who in the sesame seeds.
“ I have a question?” I raise up my hand.
“yes?” Ms. Veign looks kind of irritated at me. Wow why do I get the feeling that she has already made up her mind that she doesn’t like me?
“Well umm why is this detective thingymajig called sesame seeds??”
“That is another lesson for another day Lizzy Mcguire.”
“or maybe you just don’t know?!” I mumble.
“Pardon me Ms. Williams?”
“Umm I just said please stop calling me names because it is annoying.”
“Well im sory queen Elizabeth your majesty, if you stop distracting my whole class I promise it wont happen again.” I roll my eyes. Oh Geez I think I wanna die and go back to earth now.
“Like I was saying.” Ms. Meanie Veign jerk (ooh that’s a cool nick name Ms. Minnie Van) continues, “These students have gone through every thing in the book and everything your going to go through, so instead of starting to ramble,”
“Oh too late for that.” I whisper and it gets a snicker from everyone who is close enough to hear me, Ms. Minnie van pauses for a second then continues.
“well without further ado or distractions” she looks directly at me. “I will just call the students name and then call their mentor okay?”
No one answers.
“Okay Jessi Collins you are going to be placed with Shawn Stevens, who is honored for his great service and unique abilities for the last seventy earth years.” Jessi stands up beside me and walks to the front where the Shawn guy steps out from the rest of the line. He actually isn’t bad looking for a seventy something year old dude, but then again he has the benefit of a doubt since he died a teenager.
“Ooh I got an old hot dude as my mentor this ought to be fun!” Jessi whispers and gives a chuckle my way. I cant help but laugh too.
“Ms. Williams since you have been the most active participant in this session how about we go to you next?”
“Whatever Ms. Minnie van”
“Excuse me?” she raises an eyebrow.
I pretend that I am chocking, I cough “umm water, I said I think something choked me from a pan.” Then I cough again like three times. I clear my throat because she is still just staring at me, “Uhh wow I feel so much better.” I smile.
“uh-huh” she nods, “anyway like I was saying Ms. Williams you will be with Josh Stars.”
“wow does everyone up here have at least one weird name?” I ask but I am totally ignored. Ouch second time since I died and you would think some people would cut you some slack.
“Please come to the front Ms. Williams.” Minnie van says –notice I have even dropped the Ms. As in that is how much I dislike her, wow I am bad- I smile to myself. As I walk in front my mystery mentor also steps in front. D-A-N-G! he is super F-I-N-E there is no need to lie about it! Wow!
While I have this thoughts Minnie van continues talking. “Mr. Stars has been honored for his courage and independence and loyalty for the last one hundred and ten earthly years. My slow motion Vision of him shaking his brownish red hair, -no more like locks, yea definitely locks- ends.
“Wait a hundred and what??”
“a hundred and ten, this November.” Minnie van replied in a monotone way.
“Oh my gowsh he is too hot to be that old!” I cover my mouth, “umm did I just say that out loud?” Minnie van looks at me like I am the most hopeless creature she has ever seen, while the rest of the class just snorts. “Well, you were all thinking it!” if I wasn’t already dead I would kill myself right here and now.
“Well Ms. Williams thank you for sharing with us that tadbit of information that you know about what we are thinking and feeling. Now I think the rest of the class wouldn’t mind if I send you and Jessi out since you already have your mentors.”
For the first time I look into Josh’s eyes. They are a really cool kind of misty grey but they have a sparkle in them, and I noticed he has a really sly laugh at the whole situation. Jessi and her mentor, Shawn walk out the door and Josh follows still laughing, but before I step out myself Minnie van calls me.
“Lizzy” I only stop because that is the first time I have heard her call me that the whole class. I turn around.
“yeah?”
“Well,” she has a weird expression on her face, “good luck you are really going to need it.”
“Umm thanks, I guess.” Then I smile at her, maybe she isn’t that bad after all. Then it strikes me just as I close the door behind me and see Josh standing there smiling and Jessi with her new found Mr. Right talking. Those were the exact same words short guardian angel guy told me and look where I have ended up, I wonder what will happen next?

HEEEY Guys! J see I haven’t taken more than a week to upload and it is way long! I actually thought I woudnt upload this weekend but I started typing and my writers block completely disappeared lol! I hope you’ve enjoyed this chapter will hopefully uplad next weekend! Ima getting excited, btw last week was my birthday and it was awesome thanx to some of my friends, it wasn’t major turned 15 but still cool :p so anyway don’t forget to
