Your POV

It hurts. My entire body aches and the world feels blurry. I groan lowly as I begin to open my eyes. It's brightly lit room, causing me to curse while my eyes adjusted. "Damn it..." I hissed.

"Pretty little creatures like you shouldn't be cursing," a deep voice said from somewhere to my right, making me jump in surprise.

"Who's there?! A human?! I don't have any gold! You already took it all and my family!" I snapped.

"I can assure you, I'm no human." There was a dark chuckle. Damn it! It was too bright for me to see anything.

"Then why? As a monster, you should hate me." If I can buy time, my eyes will adjust.

"Oh trust me, I do." Another chuckle. "But as much as I want you dead, I can't kill you."

"What?" My eyes were starting to adjust. I turned towards the voice to see a shape coming into my vision, getting closer. It was the skeleton from before.

"Well, my younger brother and son, Papyrus, saw you. Since you wanted to die and didn't attack, he wanted to let you live."

I blinked at him. "Younger brother and son? So is Papyrus your son or brother...?" I probably shouldn't care, but I had nothing else to talk about.

"Both. He's usually my brother, except for SONdays." He chuckles to himself.

Was that a pun? I snorted. That was terrible. "You got cat to be kitten meow." I laughed to myself. "Your puns suck."

"I can't help it." He shrugged. "My andaconda don't want none unless you got puns, hun."

Was this guy for real? I only joked to get him to let his guard down, but it appeared as though he didn't have one. And what did he mean by 'both'? Shouldn't he be trying to kill me anyway?

"You know, only one other human has ever avoided my wrath. Frisk. They let us out of the under ground." He took a drawl from a cigarette that seemed to magically appear and blew the smoke through his teeth.

"But you're no Frisk. I'll warn you right now, if I catch you doing anything threatening towards one of my friends," his left eye began to glow a golden color, "YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME." With that, he disappeared. It was like he had vanished into thin air, leaving me all alone in the room.
