Sarah

I wasn't provided as many answers as I desired but I had enough intellect to gather that my friends and Jareth were being truthful. They needed my help in some form of way, and I'd try to provide it.

Jareth called a boy named Martain to show us to our rooms, he was a tall boy, though slightly shorter than Jareth with brown hair, eyes and complexion. He held a dazzling white smile, which followed him around where ever he went.

As we were pushed out of the room Jareth quickly kissed my hand and bowed his head. I cringed in the slightest, this kind of curtesy being unknown to me. As the door closed behind me and I walked down the hallway I gently wiped my hand on my jeans.

Hoggle giggled behind me, bumping into my hip as he jogged past. I huffed.

"Your rooms aren't far, they are placed in the royal corridor. An area adorned for only the most special of guests." Martain admitted. I watched him as he made a turn and continued down the hall, not bothering to allow the short legged and slow creatures to catch up.

We made it to a wall with two doors on it. He pointed toward the closest door.
"This room here, is the men's bedroom. It has a specially designed restroom and doorways to accustom your sizes." He spoke, referring to Ludo and his big and tall height. He opened the door allowing the three to wobble inside and gawk at its beautiful interior.

He pointed toward a much farther door, "And that, is your room." He smiled.
"His highness had put an awful lot of attention and work into both rooms." He beamed, walking me toward it. I waved at my friends.

"Someone will come to collect you at dinner, a feast has been made for your arrival. If you have any questions before that time simply ask it to your crystal and I will give you an answer." And with that the tanned man disappeared into thin air.

I looked down the halls searching for him, the floors vacant of life. I quirked my expression curiously looking toward a set of large double doors down the hall.

I took a deep breath before opening my door and welcoming the wondrous sight of my room. I gasped, my bitterness fleeting and being masked with awe.

Stone floors and walls, a wall of greenery with luscious flowers sprouting from within. A gigantic bed with delicate silk sheets and a beautiful tapestry resting on the wall behind it.

The tapestry showed a sight of four jewels, one green, one blue, one red and one purple. Within the centre of the jewels was a symbol, it appeared godly though simplistic. It was an arrow head, facing upward toward the sky. I ran my hand over the cotton tapestry, admiring its intricacy.

With each jewel a scene laid behind it, the green one showing the labyrinth. The purple one showing a dazzling royal mountain top city, clouds wrapping around towers and the bottoms of buildings. The red jewel had the scene of a cave, a pair of sheers snipping red thread and the blue one showing a woman with white hair and her hands draped around a crown and mask in a form of vengeance. I questioned it, wondering what it had meant.

Surely the green jewel represented the labyrinth and Jareth, but the other three left me to daydream. I would need to ask someone when the timing was right.

I turned my attention from the tapestry to look at the rest of the room. The sight out of the window catching my utmost attention. A beautiful grassy meadow, yellow flowers peaking through every other strand of grass. I smiled, thinking of running through the field like one of those girls in musicals or plays my mother acted in. I giggled, running my hand along the windowsill.

I twirled myself a few times, before sitting on the plush carpet that rested atop the stone floor and staring intently at the roof. It held no spectacular design unlike the rest of the room but it did show a beautiful candlelight chandelier. I rolled to my side, before admiring the greenery wall again.

I finally paid attention to the tree that stood near it, a door knob shining from on top of the bark. I tilted my head as I sat up and walked toward it, I opened the door (tree?) to be graced with the sight of a large room layered with copious gowns and jewels.

I gasped, surely all of these beautiful dresses were not my style, yet they still had the power to make a girl gape. I ran my hand along the silk and brocade. I sighed, I would not be forced to wear dresses for thirteen months.

Surely there was a pair of pants within this gigantic closet? I thought, walking toward a large wardrobe with moss growing on and around it. I opened the first and second drawer, welcomed with shirts that looked as if they had been taken from my own home, the third and fourth drawer filled with jeans, leggings and other sorts of pants.

Within the last few drawers were beautiful clothes in a style much like my own, but I'd never seen them before.

Why would Jareth do this for me?

I wasn't sure how long I was in there for, looking at the beauty of the whole room and contemplating Jareth and the situation. I could hear the ticking of shoes outside of the closet, I hurriedly poked my head out.

A small blonde girl stood, wearing a goblin mask.
"Hello missus, I apologize for not having granted permission for entry but you weren't answering and I began to worry." She rambled, I smiled, stepping out toward her.

"No need to apologize. Please call me Sarah, what is your name?" I asked, placing my hand in front of me for a handshake. The girl hesitated, tucking some hair behind her ear.

"I've never been asked that before..." She muttered, a smile appearing on her face.
"I'm Moppet."
