Here's a short teaser for a chapter that will appear later in the novel. I am currently fixing up the story, and I hope this small teaser will make up for the novels hold.
With old chapters being fixed and new chapters being posted, I hope you stick around to see the story as it progresses to its completion!Tell me what you think about this teaser and something you can imagine Sarah and Jareth doing together for a chance to have your idea written into my story.
-thank you!

---May 10th 2017---The pale moonlight always made things look more beautiful, as Sarah sat on the edge of his study desk with balled fists; Jareth had watched her for what felt like an eternity, everything from the flow of her hair and the soft curves of her cheekbones to the harshness in her eyes.
"You got me into this mess, you're going to get me out of it." She simply stated, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ah," Jareth began, his words fumbling from his mouth.
"I'm afraid it's more complex." The King breathed, a saddened hum buzzing in his heart.
He watched the young woman ahead of him with a somber smile, she flicked a piece of hair away from her eyes. He nearly felt compelled to lace his fingers through her dark locks. He mentally shook his head, averting his eyes to his desk toward a stack of papers.
"Just tell me what has to be done, no more beating around the bush, no more avoiding it, I'm a part of this; I have the right to understand." Sarah spoke, standing up from her spot next to the ink well.
The desk now void of her presence, Jareth's eyes lingered upward back toward her.
The elegant white dressing gown she wore covered her body is floods of white fabric. Slouching down the curve of her back, her shoulders held onto the white material with grace. She stood at the bookcase, fingers grazing over the spine of each book. Her eyes however were focused toward Jareth, waiting for her answer with a hopeful but demanding gaze.
Her eyes were nearly hypnotic.
Jareth reached a hand to his temple massaging his thoughts clear before sighing."Sarah, go to bed, we'll speak tomorrow, I have a duty I must attend to." His voice filled with a dominance only a king would be accustomed to using.
Sarah sighed, grabbing the book her fingers traced. She didn't bother saying goodnight as she held the book to her chest and walked out of the room.
Her long dressing gown slid across the glossy stone floors behind her and Jareth watched her as she graced further away from him.
Sarah turned toward Jareth's quarters, deciding she'd wait until he was done.
No more hesitation.
A small smile fell across his lips as he watched Sarah turn toward his quarters. The large doors to his bedroom laid open and the girl eased her way in, removing one of the many layers of fabric she wore.
The young woman sat at the edge of his bed, covered in silk sheets and thick down comforters. She reached toward a pillow, plumping it before she rested herself fully on his bed, lounging across the duvet and sunk beneath sheer polyester.
The woman looked beautiful with her hair spread across white pillows, her sun kissed skin beneath lace design.
Jareth sighed from his work desk, imagining his beautiful girl- correction woman.
Sarah sprawled across the mattress gently, flipping quietly through the pages of the novel written in a language she couldn't decipher.
She sighed, resting her head back, gently pulling her hair to rest around the side of her neck and behind her ear. She shut her eyes, and allowed the cool air surrounding her to invoke a silent path of thought.
Jareth rested his eyes, he thought of wandering to his quarters, and losing himself in Sarah's words. Instead he stayed put.
If anything were to get between them, both Sarah and Jareth were sure it would be his mind.
