Chapter 10

Katie's POV~

I woke up to complete silence. Beautiful! All the boys were still asleep so that gave me time to get ready without interruptions.

I decided that I didn't feel like taking a shower so I put dry hair shampoo on my roots and then sprayed sea salt spray to make it look beachy. Plus it was easy to do. Then I put on my bathing suit and shorts and a t-shirt and went to the main house.

I wanted to see if the girls wanted to go shopping or to the town with me cause I really just needed to get away with just girls for a while.

When I walked into the house I could smell waffles and toast. Yum

"Hey Jez."

"Hey Kat what's up!!"

"I was wandering if you and the other girls wanted to go shopping or to the town with me today."

"Yea I thin-"

"I think that sounds like a wonderful idea Katie. Especially because we have a ball to go to."
said my mom interrupting Jez.

"What do you mean a ball?"
Jez and I said at the same time as Snow Ava and Rose all walked in confused.

"The Sangster's friends are having their annual formal ball and invited all of us so I recommend you girls go to town and find a nice dress for it. The ball will be tomorrow starting at 6 and ending whenever we decide to leave."

"Ok ladies, let's go to the mall!!!"
screamed Ava excited to go.

We all got into the car and Ava drove. It's always so much fun when all of us girls are together. We always blast the music, sing along, and laugh until we can't breath. It makes me forget about all the issues I have in my life.

"Ok guys lets play a game." said Rose

"What game!" I asked

"I don't know I came up with the idea. I can't do everything around here." Rose said with sarcasm laced in her voice

"Wow real big help there Rose. I don't know what we would've done without you here." said Jez while laughing

"Oh Oh guys I have an idea." Ava said excited

"What is it we all said in unison."

"Ok I think everyone's gonna like this one. It's called...... let's mess with Katie!!!"

"Omg yea lets do it I love that game"

"Same it's always so much fun!!!"

"No guys not again we do this every time we're all together!"

"No you have no choice were playing" Jez said firmly before she broke down laughing

"Uggghhhh God I hate it when I e do this!!"

"Ok first things first. Katie would just admit that you love Thomas. Like I'm pretty sure we all saw the way you two were looking at each other during game night."

"Guys seriously I don't like him and I'm 108% sure he doesn't like me."

"Come on Katie the truth is inevitable!!" Rose screamed

"No I'm not kidding and also I might actually like someone else right now."

"Omg omg omg"

"Katie you better freaking tell us who it is!"

Oh my god is it one of Thomas friends?"

"Ok ok chill I'll tell you just don't freak out too much."

"We won't I promise just tell us."

"Ok I think I'm starting to fall for Jake. He's so sweet and I feel like I can talk to him about anything. Not to mention he's hella hot."

"Wow Katie really?"

"I gotta say he is pretty cute."

"He is but.... I honestly still like you and Thomas together."

"Yep"

"Guys I though you would be supportive of this."

"Katie you know we wouldn't be. Don't try and do that fake guilting us into liking you too together. You know that ever since we were little we've all wanted you and Thomas together you guys are literally the cutes couple. The only problem with you guys is that your to stubborn to notice your live for each other so you hide behind your emotions and are mean to each other. WAKE UP and open your eyes to reality!" said Ava

And with that she thumped me on my head.

"You thumped me. You just fucking thumped me!"

"Honestly Katie we all do agree with her. Thumping you was the only way to get you out of your trance. When we get home just try and read between the lines of how Thomas is acting when he sees you and jake getting all flirty and cutesy." Snow said

"ugh fine but doesn't be ill like jake any less."

"Ok good well we're here so let's go find some fancy dresses for the ball to-night!!!!!" screamed Rose followed by the rest of us woohooing as we're getting out of the car prancing toward the stores.

We've been looking for three hours now and have had no luck. I mean we have tried on like a bajillion dresses but most of them were just for fun.

"Guys do you think we'll ever find dresses. We've been looking for so long now." I said kinda discouraged

"Katie honey. Just have faith in the fashion gods and all will be good." Ava said with her hands on my shoulders with a cheeky grin on her face.

"Oh shut up ya loon" I said cracking up"

"GUYS GUYS look there's a whole rack over there of realllllyyy cue dresses how did we miss that"

"Oh my god there gorgeous"

"You see Katie it was the gods"

I just gave here a look then ran over to the dresses.

"Well ladies lets pick some out and try them on."

and we did just that and in about 20 minutes we all had found our perfect dresses.

"Guys I love it when we're all together. It literally puts me in such a good mood." said snow

"Same we always have so much fun."

"This is gonna be a great summer"
