The Orphan Travelers

Part 3

We sat in silence on the cold hard concrete sidewalk. I noticed Paige start to shiver from the slight chill of the wind. I automatically pulled her close to me hugging her. She rested her head on my chest, and I had my cheek rest on the top of her head. I held Paige like that until she completely stopped shivering. She was so warm. It felt nice. I never wanted to move but I knew we couldn't stay outside all night. So I broke the silence.

"I think we should head over to the library Paige." I suggested.

"I (yawn) think (yawn) your (yawn) right." Paige said sleepily.

I could tell she was too sleepy to walk. So I stood and put my backpack on Paige's back with her other bag.

"Paige stand up and get on my back." I commanded. Lucky for me she cooperated. She slowly got on my back. The library was only two blocks away. I started my walk down the side walk, readjusting the sleeping Paige on my back.

Finally we got to the library. I was so tired and sleepy i could of dropped dead in front of the entrance. I looked around. It was like a ghost town. The only people around was the half sleep librarian at her front desk, and some homeless guys knocked out in between some aisles. I headed over too the escalator with Paige still sleep on my back. I prayed that there would be no one up stairs. I really just wanted to be alone with Paige.

After getting to the 2nd floor I walked to the way back aisles in the corner. I knew that rarely anyone came over here because that rack of books were all about pregnancy, baby names, and family planning.

I carefully laid Paige's sleeping body on the carpet. I stared at her. She looked so cute && peaceful in her sleep. I took her back pack from her back and reached in there looking for a blanket. Of course Paige bought a blanket. I sat with my back against the book shelf. Then I carefully sat Paige in my lap with her head on my chest. I didn't have to worry about waking her up because she sleeps like she's dead. I successfully got the large blanket over Paige & I.

I let out a huge breath. The library was super quiet. Paige felt good in my lap. Maybe even to good. I blushed at my perverted thought. Paige and I had always had a brother sister relationship. But was I feeling more for her? It was impossible. We were best friends, thats all. With that, I let my eyes close and drifted off to sleep.

Paige's POV!!! (lol finally)****

I slowly opened my eyes, slightly disoriented. At first all I saw was white bright light. Soon my eyes adjusted && It started all coming back to me. I let out a low yawn. I was in the library ofcourse. With all these books it wouldn't be hard to guess. I turn my head and I was surprised that I had my head resting on Justin's chest with his arms loosely around my waist. Justin was still sleep. I took that as an opportunity to sit up. By this time I was fully awake and aware of everything. I carefully pushed against Justin's hold tying to get loose. That only made his reflexes kick in. He uncontuosly gripped my waist tighter and pulled my small body more on top of his. That made me more alert. My eyes went wide at our closeness. I had my hands on his stomach. Wow! When did Justin get abs? How come I hadn't notice this before? Well, now I know now. I blushed at the thought of my bestie ever finding out my that I was feeling on his abs. I attempted again to sit up. That only made his grip on my waist even tighter. So tight that I barley able to breath. Stupid me, I let out an extra loud cough. With that Justin's eye lids flew open.

Omg!!!! I know I haven't uploaded in a while!! I'm soo srry!! I've been busy with stupid school ...... Anyway I will hopefully upload a longer chapter nxt time. &&& I kno that this was short and super boring! Well hope u enjoyed :)))
