At that moment, everything changed.

I was doodling on my notebook while sitting at my usual seat in the classroom.

I looked at the clock and sighed softly, class was about to start, but he's not coming. Tears started to form in my eyes as I saw the table that was empty beside me.

Everything couldn't go back to how it was before anymore.

I bought a sandwich and went to an empty table to sit down, but I realized that I didn't buy a cup of tea that I've always been doing. What's wrong with me? That's what I do everyday, but I forgot about it today.

I left my book and sandwich on the table as I went to buy a cup of tea.

I was walking back to my seat after buying it, but frowned when I saw someone touching my book.

I ran towards the guy and tapped on his shoulder. "Excuse me, why are you touching—"

I stopped when I saw his face, it was Im Jaebum.

I gulped, I missed everything about him. But I couldn't tell him about it, because he was not that Im Jaebum I know anymore.

"Oh, this is yours? Here." He extended his left hand to give me the book.

Before I can even take back the book, he hid it away from me.

I glared at him, what does he want?

He sniggered, "This is fun."

I was so angry at him, but I couldnt do anything.

"Just take it then, I had already finish reading it." I said and left to find another empty table.

I regretted what I've said a few seconds ago, that book cost 18 dollars. But what can I do, going back to him and tell him to return me the book?

You know that I'll never do that. Forget it, just take it as I had thrown it away.

After the break, I went back to my classroom and get ready for the next lesson. As I walked to my table, I saw the book that Jaebum took just now on my table.

I smiled widely, is it really back? I picked up the book from the table and flipped to the first page.

"Min Sung Hee, I don't want your book. Take it back and continue to be a bookworm!"

This handwriting belongs to Jaebum.

I felt my heart shattering into million pieces. It's not the first time I'm heading this, but I still feel so sad.
