Youngjae's POV
"Jaebum will confess to you soon." I spoke up as we were strolling in the park. "You will accept him, right?"
Sung Hee's hand quickly slipped off from mine, avoiding making any eye contacts with me. "Can I not? Let's just cancel the plan, I don't have any feelings for him anymore."
I gulped after hearing her reply, should I be happy or sad about it?
"If you don't accept him, I would have to leave." I paused for a while, making her eyes wide opened at me. "If I didn't do my job properly, I would have to leave and get punished."
I'm so sorry for lying, Sung Hee.
Flashback >> (to the continuation of chapter 16, youngjae's pov)
"Speak the truth, are you in love with Min Sung Hee?" Hyun Eun asked and I shrugged, "I don't know?"
"Choi Youngjae, don't assume that all of us are not aware of what you've been doing." She warned and sighed. "Even if you don't reply me, I probably already know the answer."
I gulped as I felt her eyes on me.
"Do you know how serious it is to break the rules?"
I kept quiet and kept my head down. After all, it's my fault.
"You can no longer be Min Sung Hee's guardian. You broke the rules, you have to be punished. After getting Sung Hee and Jaebum back together, you have to leave and come back. You will be erased from the memories of every single one of them whom you met. This applies to Sung Hee as well, she will assume that she did everything herself, from then to now. No one will remember that you existed." Hyun Eun read out the message from her book. "I feel sorry for you too, but this is the message from the head. You have to follow it."
"It's okay, I did wrong and this is the consequences I'm suppose to take." I told her, trying to accept the fact.
"Before I leave, I hope that you can change their love story."
"What?" She raised her eyebrow at my sudden request.
"Give them a good ending. Only if that happened, I can leave peacefully."
Hyun Eun hesitated for a while, "I will discuss with the other cupids about it."
<< End of flashback
Hyun Eun then confirmed with me later that they approved it, which made me smiled; a bitter smile, I guess.
I heard Sung Hee sniffling but I couldn't see her face because she was looking at the ground, "I will think about it."
She walked away without facing me for once. I tried to control the tears from escaping my eyes, "Sung Hee-ah, I'm so sorry. Everything I'm doing is good for you."
I followed Sung Hee behind as she slowly walked back to her house, I heaved a sigh when I know that I'm going to leave this place soon.
She took her clothes and went to the toilet when she reached home, causing me to stand alone here in her room. She didn't say a single word to me.
I stared at the notebook and the pen that were placed on Sung Hee's table.

Sung Hee's POV
Another new day to start with. But this time round, I have mixed feelings.
It's the last day of school before we go for a one week break, which mean I can finally get some rest.
