Zoro x reader One Shots

Zoro x Swordswoman!reader - With him

Perona is my favourite female One Piece character (well sorta alongside Robin, it's just Robin gets more screen time and love by the fandom) I mean I really want to cosplay Perona ;-;
Yes I used the term swordswoman. Deal with it B)
Also the reader is Mihawk's daughter.

The (H/C) haired girl sighed, swinging her legs as she perched on the wall alongside Perona.

"Don't you think we should help him?" She asked dubiously.

"It's fun watching him get lost like this!" Perona laughed. (Name) tried to suppress her giggles upon seeing the green haired male appear before them once again.

"True. But I reckon that I should warn him about Father." (Name) pouted. She hated to ruin his fun, but a swordsman being in the same castle as The Dracule Mihawk was not the best idea.

~

"Please!" Zoro bowed before Mihawk yet again.

Mihawk just stared back coldly, judging and weighing out what was happening. A man, prepared to give up his pride to beg for training. Admirable, whilst not admirable.

(Name) just watched from behind a wall, peering around so that neither swordman could see her.

'That swordsman is pathetic. But why do I...' She clutched her chest. 'Why am I feeling so strange around him?'

"Psst! Zoro!" (Name) whispered.

"Huh? Who are you?!" He looked at the (H/C) haired girl, who looked familiar somehow.

"My dad didn't keep his promise about the sake, so I got you some." She gave him the glass bottle of alcohol before running off, leaving a confused Zoro in her wake.

"Dad? So she's...Mihawk's daughter?" He pondered, sitting down with a sigh. If she was Dracule Mihawk's own daughter, he had a tough opponent to beat.

Zoro winced slightly as she bandaged the bleeding wound, apologising.

"It's fine (Name). This will help me get stronger, if I have scars to remind me of what I have to achieve." Zoro interrupted her.

"Huh?" (Name) gave him a confused look. "Do you hate me?"

"Not at all (Name). I'd rather have this than you have it instead." Zoro smiled, making her blush and look away.

"J-just don't go getting yourself killed so easily." The (H/C) haired girl stuttered, finishing the dressing of his wound.

~

"Father?" (Name) asked, peering around the door at her dad, reading and drinking a glass of wine.

"Yes, (Name)?" He asked softly, looking up at her. Even the great Dracule Mihawk had a weakness, that being his daughter.

"You know...when Zoro leaves...I want to go with him." (Name) said determinedly, clenching her hand into a fist. "I want to be stronger, and staying here forever won't allow that."

"It depends if he accepts you (Name). If he and Monkey D Luffy accept you, then I won't oppose it."

~Meanwhile~

Zoro attempted to navigate his way around the castle, but stopped when he heard talking. (Name) and Mihawk.

"-I want to go with him." The words (Name) said shocked him. Did she mean him? No, it couldn't be...could it? "I want to be stronger, and staying here forever won't allow that."

"It depends if he accepts you (Name). If he and Monkey D Luffy accept you, then I won't oppose it." The words of (Name)'s father made Zoro's heart beat faster. He wanted to (Name) to be with him - he had developed feelings for her over the last 2 years.

"He is your enemy...If I am with him...will I be your enemy too?" (Name)'s sweet and innocent voice asked nervously.

"Of course not. You're my daughter." The scraping of a chair was heard as Mihawk stood up. "I'm not the most enthusiastic about it, but if it's what you want...then don't worry. I'll help if it comes to it."

"And lose your position as Shichibukai?" (Name) gasped. Zoro felt...weird. Like he was breaking apart their lives.

He wasn't, but he felt like he was.

"I don't know Perona! I mean, I like him...more than a friend, if you get what I mean...but I can't leave father like this." (Name) pondered, lying flat on the bed.

"You should leave! Go for it! You'll be happier if you're in love with him!" Perona cheered. "You know what you should do. Tell Zoro that you love him, then if he rejects you then you can just stay here."

"Right! I'll tell Zoro that I love him!" Awkwardly, Zoro had entered the room at the precise moment she had said those fated words.

"...(Name)...." He said softly, surprised. (Name) took this surprise as rejection, and ran out, crying.

"Better go after her, idiot." Perona sighed.

Zoro didn't need telling, he'd already ran after the (H/C) haired girl. He caught her wrist, and pulled her close to him.

"(Name), you didn't let me finish what I was going to say." He breathed, tired after running as fast as he could after his soulmate. "I love you (Name), even if you are Mihawk's daughter. I love you, and I want to always be with you."

"Zoro..." (Name) said breathlessly, connecting their lips softly. Her standing on her tiptoes to reach the taller male, eyes closed and her heart beating fast and hard. "Please...can I come with you? I want to be with you, please!"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I want you to?" Zoro replied smoothly, still holding onto her waist.
