Zoro x reader One Shots

Ghoul!Zoro x reader - Monster

The picture is him as a half ghoul but eh.
This is a Tokyo Ghoul AU so obviously there's gonna be gore and vivid descriptions.
Also you should probably watch Tokyo Ghoul if you haven't, because it's awesome and you probably won't understand this one shot if you don't.

"Z-Zoro?" (Name) called out nervously.

She tiptoed through the large rooms, trying to find the green-haired male.

"Please, Zoro! If this is a prank it isn't funny!" (Name) said, fear rising in her chest.

She heard a noise, the sound of ripping flesh.

"Zoro?" The (H/C) haired girl approached the noise cautiously.

"(N-Name)?!" She finally received a response, and smiled in relief.

"Don't worry Zoro, we'll get you home and the CCG won't hurt you anymore." (Name) said comfortingly. "They're so stupid, right? Saying you're a ghoul. That's impossible..."

"No! (Name), don't come near me! Stay away!" Zoro's response was harsh, his voice deep and rough.

"Zoro...what's wrong? You can tell me." (Name) approached the area that she'd heard his voice.

"No, (Name). Stay out of this, please. I couldn't bear to see you hurt." Zoro pleaded.

"Don't be silly, I know that..." She cut herself off when she saw the sight Zoro had so desperately pleaded her to avoid seeing.

Blood was splattered everywhere, dead bodies scattered around. He was stained with blood too, his kagune active, the corpse in front ripped apart and the destroyed flesh implying he was eating it.

(Name) screamed. A bloodcurdling scream.

"I-I-I..." She was at a loss for words, but felt bile rising in her throat and the urge to vomit from disgust.

"(Name), I told you to stay away. I told you that from the beginning." Zoro said, feeling hurt, ashamed of the fact he was such a monster.

Of course, the tell tale signs were there from the start. Little hints of him being a ghoul.

"What do you want?" The young (H/C) haired girl asked, smiling and blushing slightly.

"Just a black coffee, please." The man replied, not looking up.

"Look at him! He's so cool and calm!" (Name) gushed as she made the coffee with slightly trembling hands.

"Take him something extra. I won't say anything." Her co-worker winked and placed a muffin on the tray.

(Name) carried it over the tray with both the coffee and muffin, and placed it on the table. The green-haired male looked up, taking in the beautiful sight that was (Name) (Last Name).

"I-I...I-I mean W-We bought you something extra on the house! Please enjoy it!" (Name) was blushing furiously.

"I don't really care for sweet things, but thanks." The man said, returning to the newspaper he was reading.

When he left, (Name) saw that, despite him saying that he didn't like sweet things, had accepted her kind gesture. Alongside leaving a note on the napkin, with his phone number and name.

Roronoa Zoro.

She didn't realise that he wasn't what he seemed, that her sweet gift to him had tasted disgusting to him and made him want to vomit.

She couldn't see from the start that he was a ghoul.

"Z-Zoro, it's okay..." (Name) whispered, her eyes still wide with fear. "I-I-I don't mind if you're a g-g-ghoul."

"(Name), it's obvious. You think I'm a monster." Zoro growled. "I am a monster."

"No you aren't!" The (H/C) haired girl protested.

"Don't fucking lie!" Zoro snapped, making (Name) flinch. "Just leave me alone. I don't deserve you."

"Zoro..." (Name) crouched beside him. She could see the pain in his kakugan, his self loathing, and knew she had to tell him.

"Zoro I love you. I have, right from the start. You being a ghoul doesn't change any of that. I love you the same. If you end up eating me, if I have to see you eating, I won't love you any less." She said softly. "I love you for the person you are. You're a ghoul, but that doesn't mean you're a monster."

"(Name)..." He started to tear up. A stoic person such as him rarely cried, but this was an exception.

The (H/C) haired girl pulled him into a hug, resting his head over her shoulder and rubbing his back, letting him cry.

She didn't care if he was a ghoul, if she would be killed by the CCG, because she couldn't help but love him for who he was.

Not what he was.
