Zoro x reader One Shots

Zoro x Marine!reader - Help

I'm running out of ideas :/
This is based off the G-8 arc

"Sir, are you sure this will work?" (Name) frowned, looking at the chess board with doubt.

"Trust me. We'll have them in checkmate soon enough." Jonathan replied, absentmindedly fiddling with the piece in his hand. "We've already caught two of them."

"Do you really trust those rookies guarding them?" (Name) sighed.

"Go check if you're so paranoid." Jonathan motioned to the door. "They're in the dungeons. See if you can find them."

"Lieutenant commander (Name)!" The officers stationed at the cell straightened up at the sight of the (H/C) haired girl.

"Morning. You're dismissed for now, I'll stay here for a bit." (Name) smiled softly, charming the officers into leaving sheepishly.

"Now we can talk." She smiled, leaning against the wall and making eye contact with one of the Pirates.

Usopp took this as a threat and hid behind Zoro, while the green haired man continued to make eye contact with (Name).

"What do you want?" He growled.

"To know why you stopped helping us, Pirate Hunter Zoro." (Name) said shortly. "It hurts how you abandoned us."

"I was never helping you in the beginning." Zoro hissed.

"Debatable." (Name) simply said.

"I'm trusting you. They break out, and I'll break your spine? Capiche?" (Name) walked away, leaving two intimidated soldiers.

She sighed once she was out of their sight, sitting down with her back against the wall.

"That damn pirate hunter..." The (H/C) haired girl muttered, drawing her legs to her chest. "Why is he making me...feel this way...?"

When she saw her reflection, she was shocked to see she was blushing.

"No! I can't fall for a pirate! I can't fall for a pirate!" (Name) shook her head, tightening her fist.

"(Name)!" Jonathan shouted, drawing the girl's attention immediately. "Go after them. Quickly, I have a feeling that they'll get away, even in this dire situation."

"Right." The Lieutenant Commander immediately ran off, sword at her side.

~Meanwhile~

"Usopp, there's someone coming." Zoro said, peering into the distance to see a rapidly approaching marine.

"Huh?" Sanji took the telescope from the swordsman and looked. "It's a beautiful woman! Oh, how I would give up my life of piracy to be with this beauty~"

"Shut up." Zoro retaliated. "Usopp, we'll help you."

Usopp was trembling as his crew mates attached the reject dial to his hand.

"Trying to escape?" A patronising voice made them stop still.

(Name) was sitting near them, smirking.

Zoro growled, hands on his swords, ready to draw them at any moment, whilst Usopp just screamed.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you." The (H/C) haired girl said, raised an eyebrow. "I just need you to help me with something."

"You expect us to help a marine?" Zoro glowered at her.

"You see, if you help me then I won't be a marine." (Name) sighed.

All three pirates stared at her in confusion.

"I'm sick of this dead end position. I need some excitement. So I want you to take me out to sea with you." She smiled.

"Of course! There's no way we'd reject a beauty like-" Sanji's swooning was cut off by Zoro clearing his throat.

"You'll have to get the captain's permission. And if you do join us, should you ever betray us then I will not hesitate to kill you." The green haired swordsman said, Usopp nodding in agreement.

"I know you won't hurt me, cutie." (Name) flirted, walking off and leaving a slightly flustered first mate.

"(Name)-chwan~ I got you a flower~" Sanji placed the flower in her (H/C) hair affectionately.

"Thank you Sanji, it's beautiful." (Name) smiled. She glanced to the side, seeing Zoro lying against the mast and immediately an idea sparked in her mind. "You're such a kind person, Sanji. You'd make an amazing boyfriend."

"(Name)-chwan...?" Sanji was stunned that a girl had finally noticed him. Zoro overheard the commotion and opened his eyes, watching the two pirates enviously.

"In fact Sanji, I was wondering about something. You see, from when I first met you, you've always been on my mind, and I-" The (H/C) haired girl was cut off by Zoro grabbing her arm, as he had finally caught onto what she was doing.

"Is there something wrong Zoro?" (Name) asked in fake innocence.

"We need to talk." Zoro said shortly, dragging her off, much to Sanji's displeasure, as he called after Zoro, insulting him and protesting against the way he was treating (Name).

"Listen, it really annoys me when you do that, and you are fully aware of it." Zoro growled.

"That's exactly why I do it, Marimo." (Name) smirked.

"What will I take for you to stop?" Zoro sighed.

"Maybe if you confess your feelings for me?" (Name) said, making him stop still. "Don't try and hide it."

"Well...I...shit..." Zoro stumbled over his words in shock.

(Name) stopped his ramblings by kissing him gently.

"You know why I didn't help you earlier?" She asked rhetorically. "Because I needed to give you payback. When you stopped helping us, it broke my heart."

"I mean, it doesn't matter now, right?" Zoro muttered, crossing his arms.

"No~ But I'm still annoyed at you." (Name) ruffled his hair, smiling.
