He leaned in and kissed me. My best friend just kissed me. There were so many thoughts running through my head, that I couldn't think straight.
"I-I'm sorry," Jake said.
"Don't be," I replied back.
He just smiled, and began to walk off.
"Wait! Do you want to stay the night? You can stay in the guest bedroom. I don't want to be alone with all of these wacko's," I asked.
"Haha, yea sure. Can I borrow Brents clothes?"
"Yea"
We walked up the driveway.
I opened the door to silence. I've acually gotten used to the silence since Brent has been gone. Jake and I walked upstairs into Brent's room.
I grabbed sweatpants and a t-shirt and chucked it at Jake.
"HEY! What was that for?!"
"Meh, I just wanted to"
After we took showers and put on our pajamas we went downstairs and popped a bag of popcorn.
"What throwback movie do you wanna watch" I asked Jake while ruffling through movies.
"Doesn't matter to me."
So I picked out High School Musical.
When my favorite song came on, I got up and started dancing and singing.
Then someone came into the house.
