Renesmee's P.O.V.

I woke up in a dark room. It looked like a shed of some sort. I was groggy and didn't remember anything. What happened?

I sat up and almost blacked out again. My hand flew to my head, which was aching. I must have hit my head. Then everything came rushing back. An unknown vampire had snuck into my room and knocked me out. That's the last thing I remember.

The door opens and she enters.

"Hello Nessie. How are you feeling?" She asked with a sneer.

I suddenly felt a rush of anger. "Who the hell are you? Why did you take me away from my family? And where are we?" I finished, panting.

She laughed. Ugh, I hate her. "My name is Christina. As for why I took you and where we are....you will find out in time." She said handing me a tray with food and a glass of blood. I ate the food quickly but ignored the blood.

She cocked her head to the side. "Not thirsty?" I shook my head. "Okay. You'll regret it later." Whatever.

There was just one thing that I didn't understand. "How do you know who I am? And what do you want? You obviously hope to gain something by kidnapping me so.....spill."

She made a face. "Alright I'll spill." She spat it at me like an insult. "I've been stalking you and your family. It looked like you were the most loved so I took you."

"You didn't answer my question. What do you hope to gain?" I asked again.

"Power." She said simply. "You're the biggest clan aside from the Volturi. If I can take you to them they would be forever grateful and I would be almost as powerful as Aro, Caius, and Marcus."

"You're an idiot." I said, making her snarl. "If you think you can defeat us single-handedly then you're an idiot." I said.

She just stared at me. I wondered what she was doing until I felt a tremendous pain in my head. I screamed. She must have been the one at the house last week.

Then out of nowhere, the pain suddenly stopped. I was gasping for breath and sweating.

"There's much more where that came from if you keep that up." She said with a smile.

Edward's P.O.V.

It's been a day since Nessie vanished. We've been searching frantically but their scents disappear at the Canadian border. They must have gotten into a car. Right now we were congregated in the living room trying to figure out what to do next. Alice has been trying desperately but hasn't yet gotten a vision. She was very depressed and felt like it was her fault Nessie had been taken. She thought that if she had gotten the vision sooner we would have been able to protect her. She was so depressed that she didn't even want to go shopping. Whoa. That's a first.

Bella was also freaking out. She is still in Canada searching even though there's no trace. I had wanted to stay with her and help, but she insisted that I go back with the others. I think she just wanted some alone time.

We were supposed to be having a family meeting but we were pretty much just sitting there moping. Even Emmet wasn't himself. He hadn't cracked a joke since Nessie disappeared.

I constantly was focused on Alice's mind in case she had a vision. It hadn't happened yet and her thoughts were very depressing but I still kept listening. I didn't want to miss anything.

I think the person who had been hit the hardest by all this was Jake. He just sits all day doing nothing. He doesn't eat or sleep, and he hasn't moved since we got back from Canada. Far from his normal fun personality.

I was suddenly dragged into a vision in Alice's mind. Yes! The vampire who had taken Nessie stood in a shed. She was facing Nessie. Nessie was screaming. Then the vision ended. Well, it wasn't much, but we've had less to go on before.

"Everyone, Alice just had a vision." That got everyone's attention. Except Alice. She had her head in her hands and seemed to be dry-sobbing. Poor Alice.

"All she saw was the vampire and Nessie in a shed in Canada. All we have to do is find the shed."

"I'm in." Emmet said immediately.

"Me too." said Jake. Those are the first words he's spoken since our last trip.

"Well I'm obviously going." I said. "Who else?"

Alice raised her hand. I was shocked. It must have shown on my face because she rushed to explain. "I've already failed her by not having a vision. This is the least I can do."

"Well lets get going." I said.
