==Scotts POV==
When I opened my eyes, I was somewhere I dearly dreaded, in the cave. Although I was not chained to the  wall, I still found it quite unpleasant. I let out a huff before pushing my self up off the cool ground and standing up on my wobbly, still sleeping legs. After steadying myself, my stomach let out a low growl. I shifted heavily before walking towards the entrance of the cave to leave and get food.

As I walked outside, I was greeted with Vincent, slithering up to me with an angry look on his face.

"Where do you think your going?" He asked angrily.

Being to tired and and hungry to deal with his shit, I just kept walking forward, not even bothering to look at him, let alone glance at him. He did not take this lightly. His face turned slightly red with anger at me ignoring him. He watched me as I walked up to one of the trees in the vicinity and started to pick some apples.

After picking about a dozen, holding them in my cradled arms, I slowly walked back into the cave, Vincent watching me the whole time with a slightly confused expression on his face.

==Vincent's POV==
It was quite strange watching Scott walk back into the cave so willingly. Maybe I'm growing on him. A smirk formed on my lips as I slivered back into the cave. Scott was sitting by his chains, the pile of apples beside him and his knees to his chest, an apple in his mouth. I passed by him, but stopped before leaving the area.

"You ssseem a bit dirty, maybe I should give you a bath." The smirk quickly fell from my face as I felt something hit against my back and drop the the cold ground with a thud. I swiftly turned around and looked to find a half eaten, now dirty apple, and Scott with a very content look on his face. I slithered farther into the cave before finally coming to my sleeping area. I had been up early to carry Scott back to the cave, so I was very tired. I laid down and curled up with my tail. Leaving Scott alone and unchained was probably a bad idea, but the thought slipped my mind as I drifted of to sleep.

I woke up about an hour later, the only thing I hear is the sound of soft splashes. I get up an slither to the sound, to be brought to the small pond. Sitting inside was Scott that noticed me after a moment or two. He held his legs together to try and hide himself, but I was only focused on with quickly reddening face. He's kinda cute when he looks embarrassed.

"I thought you didn't want t-"

"I changed my mind." He cut in with a calm and slightly embarrassed voice.

"Ok." I turned around and slithers back into my sleeping area. I laid down on my stomach, my arms holding my cheeks and my elbows against the ground. I laid there for a moment pondering.

"Shit."

I think I like him.

Sorry for it being so fucking boring but I'm building up to something so it needed to happen, the next chapter will hopefully be the most eventful chapter in the whole book
