You Promised

Funeral

We drove home and we all stayed at the O2L house. It was a sad time for everyone since our parents were close to everyone.
    It was the day of the funerals and everyone was upset and they were all wearing black. I started to tear up more thinking of my mom and Kian's dad. My real dad was going to be there at the funerals.
     We drove to the graveside and then I saw my dad. I ran up to him and hugged him.
"Dad I miss her!" I said.
"Me too and the sad thing is I'm still in love with her and cheating on her is the worst thing I ever did." He said and I started to cry more.
"Don't cry mom wouldn't want to see you upset." He said and I wiped away my tears.
    The funeral started. I wasn't sad. It's just that losing 2 people you really love is hard, because you'll never see them again.
     "Baby are you okay?" Sam said and I shook my head no and started to cry again as Sam hugged me. He wiped away my tears and we went to go sit by Kian Izzy Tab Rio and Cole.
     "Are you okay?" Izzy said as I cried more.
"Yeah a little better but I'm still not happy at all" I said.
   "Yeah me too it's hard knowing I'll never see dad and my new mom again" Tab said while also crying.
  "Let's begin" my dad said.
He went up to the podium and said,"My dear wife. I still love her so much. Cheating on her was the worst thing I ever did. But I'm really upset that she's not around anymore. But heaven gained two angels." Everyone clapped and he went to go sit down by my aunt.
     "My dad was an amazing man. He risked his life for all 6 of us. He worked all day and provided us with food clothing and protection. I took him for granted sometimes for being mean. But remember, your parents are the ones who will love you no matter what. They will stick by your side as friends come and go." Kian said while crying so I went up the stage and hugged him while crying.
    "Kian it'll be okay I love you so much. You 5 are the closest I'll ever get to real siblings. Don't cry. God has a plan." I whispered to him.
     He went to go sit down as I said my speech.
"My mom and stepdad. I loved and still love both so much. They have done so much for me and I'm happy I have my real dad with me right now. Their not physically with us right now, but they'll always be in our hearts." I said and cried and went down to sit in between Kian and Sam.

After the funeral,we all went to the O2L house.
We were all still really sad and we didn't know what to do. Everyone tried to cheer us up but it was hard.
2 Years Later
My dad has already found a new girlfriend.
Her name is Bridgett and I already know that's Connors mom. I'm happy Connor and Kian are my brothers now. They had gotten married earlier. I'm happy for them but I still miss mom.
