Sorry I've been inactive on here. I just got back into school.

Also, if this ship bothers you so much then stop reading because you're just gonna get pressed.

As I've said I'm rewriting this book and 90% of my other content on here. If that bothers you, too, then just get off my account right now. I don't care. 🤣

Anyways...

Trigger Warning, slight depression.

And sorry this took so long. I'm aiming to rewrite my DC and MK stuff (mainly my Damian or Jason x reader/OC, and some MK stuff like my Hanzo, Takeda, or Kuai x reader/OC).

It was over.

Time, war, bloodshed, death, darkness, all of it. It was over.

Kronika had been stopped. Liu Kang finished her and became time's new keeper, with Kitana as his partner. He had rewritten time as best as he could. New enemies arose and new and old tragedies repeated, no matter how he sculpted it, just like Kitana had predicted. But he crafted it to the best of his ability, in a way that he saw fit just as everyone else.

The war had stopped after he won, ending all the bloodshed, the death and destruction, the darkness, everything. Everything had just stopped, making it a moment of relief for the kombatants. For just a few minutes in everyone's lives, time was stable, time could not be enough to cause angst. Time was irrelevant.

But some things just couldn't be healed.

Hanzo sat in the shrine located in the Fire Gardens. He usually chose to sit here for meditation, but today was different. Today was something different. Today was... ironic.

He'd been sitting here for hours, usually what he often did. The sun had gone down hours ago, dying everything a deep blue hue. He listened as the gentle breeze rustled the blue leaves together, the branches poking each other. The grass whistled as the blades touched, and the gentle crash of the ripples in the nearby rivers. The chimes dances as the breeze blew.

Everyone across the realms had been stable and everything had been calm ever since time had been rebuilt and crafted better. Everyone should be calm, but the problem was that not everything was over. Some things were still left untouched and unnoticed. If everything was peaceful, how was this repeated?

He couldn't ignore the slaughter of his family and clan years ago. The cries of his wife and child being murdered right in front him, the very tragedy that left Hanzo scarred even in death. The images, the flashbacks, the memories of their disfigured corpses lying at his feet, all bloodied and broken. Hanzo's clan and family still lived through that memory, even after time was rebuilt. He asked Liu Kang, and he showed him that in every possible timeline, his family and clan would suffer. It was inevitable.

Hanzo sighed, letting the picture fall to the wooden floor, the picture of he, his wife, and his son. How bad it must feel that a tragedy would occur no matter what.

He knew he was there, he heard his footsteps. When he said his hearing was failing, he meant it. But his own never left. "I know you are there." He said aloud. He rested his head on his hand and waited for him to walk out. "I wasn't intending to sneak up on you." The man said, a slight smile on his face. "Why are you all alone out here? Is everything okay?" He asked. The ice warrior slowly walked in and took a seat behind Hanzo, watching his slow movements.
