"Merry Christmas, Hanzo," Kuai Liang said as he sat down with tea for both of them. He set the cups on the table before passing Hanzo his own cup of tea. The ninja peered into the cup, noticing the yellow colored tea. "Is this... some sort of ceremonial tea?" He asked. "No, this is merely lemon ginger tea, my love." Kuai replied. Hanzo skeptically picked up the cup and cautiously took a sip after blowing it ((😈)).

"Where did you find this? It tastes divine," he commented as he continued to take more cautious sips. "It was gifted to me from a friend of your greatest pupil." He responded as he took his own sip. Hanzo cocked an eyebrow as he looked at his lover. "Kung Jin?" He asked. Kuai nodded. He took his hand and placed it under the cup as he began to use his frigid abilities to cool down the tea that was still a little hot for his own taste.

"Oh, Merry Christmas, by the way." Hanzo said all of a sudden. "Is this my gift from you? A cup of lemon ginger tea?" He joked. Kuai chuckled as he took another sip. "No, my love. My gift for you is far more creative than introducing you to tea." He commented.

"Well, I have a gift for you, Firefly." Hanzo said as he pulled out a small box. It was wrapped in beautiful blue wrapping paper and topped with a silver bow, just the way Kuai Liang would like it. Kuai took the box and set it on the table so he could open it. "I spent a long time making it and it would give me great pleasure for you to accept it." Hanzo said. Kuai reached up and ran a gentle finger along Hanzo's cheek, pressing a kiss to his skin. "My love, I'll accept anything you'll give me."

Hanzo quickly slid him the box faster than lightning, unseen by Kuai Liang's eyes. "Good, now open it," he chuckled. Kuai happily took it and began to delicately open the box by lifting the taped ends and unwrapping the paper to maintain its design. He carefully opened the box, his eyes growing at the sight of his gift.

"Hanzo, this...! This spear and this knife... I love it!" Kuai exclaimed. Hanzo had made a spear out of love, and a knife to match the ones Kuai had attached to his waist when he went into battle. The blue accent was so new and so beautiful it practically glowed in any setting. The metal was stainless steel and had not a single flaw. The angles and arches were perfectly crafted. This knife was perfect for Kuai to use in battle.

"I'm assuming the kunai is not for fighting, but rather a reminder of your love for me and an object to think of you when you are not around?" Kuai asked. "Correct. The knife, however, can be used in combat. I've paid attention to your weapons in combat and decided to make you one to replace the one that broke months ago." Hanzo explained. Kuai smiled and briefly kissed his lover on the lips.

"I am grateful for my gift and for you, thank you. Now it is your turn to open my gift for you." He said. He passed Hanzo a bigger box, about the size of a small package. It was wrapped in gorgeous gold wrapping paper with a black bow on top and a cute little silver snowflake hanging off with his name on it.

Hanzo followed Kuai's style of opening the gift and lifted the paper where the tape was and unwrapped it. But he wasn't expecting the gorgeous gift awaiting him when he did.

It was a glass box with a black base. The glass was the cleanest he'd ever seen, and inside the box was a light blue, at some angles, iridescent, rose that was made of ice. Cut so perfectly and shaved in areas needed, it had three leaves and some thorns on the stems. The way it glittered at all angles and was so clean and so precise, made it appear to be made of crystals by the most expert jewelry makers. But Hanzo knew who really made this gift.

"Kireina..." ("Beautiful...") Hanzo began. "This is similar to an American film that is known worldwide." He said. "Beauty and The Beast, But the meaning in my gift to you, is different," said Kuai. In truth, he didn't know what to say. "I wanted you to have something truly beautiful as a gift. You are a rose. You have your thorns, but your beauty and your personality outweigh your demons and deepest fears. You are my rose." He said.

Hanzo swore he could have cried if he was a little more emotional. Kuai tucked a strand of Hanzo's hair behind his ear and softly pulled him into a gentle kiss. The Shirai Ryu warrior accepted the kiss, closing his eyes and lacing his fingers with Kuai Liang's. It lasted for seconds before Kuai pulled away and looked into Hanzo's eyes.

"I love you... so much... It doesn't matter what everyone else says about us. You are all I need." He said. And that did it, a tear slipped out of Hanzo's eye and streamed down his face. Kuai wiped it and pressed his lips to his lover's cheek. "You are so kind to me. May I stay with you for the rest of the night?" Hanzo asked. "I would love it if you did." Kuai replied. He picked up the box he gave Hanzo and looked at the rose. "Also, if you are ambushed at your quarters, the base of the stem of the rose is quite sharp. It will not be dulled. This ice won't melt and it cannot be broken by anyone else but me. Not even Frost nor you could melt it or shatter it." Kuai said.

Hanzo chuckled and nodded. "Only you can make me smile this much and laugh so easily." He stated. Kuai touched his cheek again, softly caressing it as if he'd see it one last time.

"My love, this smile is worth everything. I'd sacrifice everything to see it." Kuai said. "Nothing will stop me from seeing you smile."
