Liana Kandyse Williams POV"I haven't did anything crazy. I've cried, I screamed, I destroyed our room and his closet, I cleaned it all up."
"Boo, I think you need a little alone time. How about you bring the boys over? Me and Prince need a little practice."
"I'm alright. I promise, I just gotta get up and move around. Rearrange some stuff, do a deep clean."
"With the boys? Not gonna happen, boo. I'll see you in a couple hours.", she hung up. I turned to face my babies. I grabbed there little hands.
"Why are you two so sticky?", I stooped down to find their pajamas covered in syrup. "Is there some pancakes left?", I yelled.
"No, we're finished. Those two ate their food and yours. We're sorry baby, you should've got up this morning!", Kendall told me.
"Y'all dirty, these two literally. It's time for another bath."

"You can't eat the soap, Stinka.", I told Chance, gently pulling the soap away. He gave me a grin, and I spotted his little teeth. "Pumpkin, where are you going?", I spoke to Chase to sitting him back since he was trying to climb out of his little tub into the full tub. "Mama, Ma.", Chase called lifting his chubby arms up. I shook my head at him, "No, Pumpkin. You have to take your bath first. Find your belly for Mama. Where's baby's belly?", he sat down in his tub and preceded to find his belly for me. I washed them both up and got them out. The older they get, the harder bath time gets. I put them in a fresh diaper and went to get their little toothbrushes.

"Whaddup, Lia?", Prince asked me. I gave him a hug and a slight smile.
"I'm pretty good, since you're already outside, get your godsons for me. Love you brother!"
I heard him laugh and nod his head. I went inside, and straddled Kelsi lap. "Girl! Get off me! That booty too big for this!", she shrieked.
"But I missed you so much! Gimme kissy Kelly!"
"Bihh, that's Big Daddy Kelly to you!" She pushed us forward, making me lock my legs around her.
"I swear, if I ain't know no better I would think y'all was fucking each other.", Prince said. We laughed, this was just how we acted whenever we were together.
"You too much, baby. Look at you Lia! You got on your glasses, which is rare, hair in a pony, mommy mode has never looked so good."
"You can't have no contacts with them, and I'm about to go get my hair did. Thinking about getting their hair cut, you got them Prince?"
"He's not finna cut their hair. They'll get a shape-up, fade the sides, but I'm not letting you cut off their hair.", Kelsi yelled. I snacked her arm. "Duh, I'm not ready to cut it off completely. I still got like two years with them as babies. Their doctor already advised me to start weening them off breast milk, they're eating solids now, my babies are becoming toddlers! So it's time for y'all to work on a baby."
Kelsi cut me a look, "The door Lia. Kiss the boys and go get your kitchen done!", I flicked my middle finger at her and kissed the boys and preceded to leave.

I arrived at the salon and walked in quickly. This winter wasn't working for me at all. "Hey Liana! I haven't seen you in a while!", my stylist, since childhood, Victoria said. "I know! But after the twins I forgot all about my appointments.", I told her watching her light her cigarette.
"You got a picture of those little men, because if they're anything like their mother as a child they are a handful." I pulled out my phone and showed a picture of them. "The one on the left is Chase and the one on the right is Chance."
"Oh My! They are beautiful, honey. Now these are some cute babies, I don't know what these other folks be having!"
"Thank you.", I blushed. It was often strange to me to hear compliments, most women insulted my babies because of their jealousy, me having not one but two children by Q.
Victoria pulled my hair out of its ponytail, "Alright, what we doing today?"
"I want something new.", I told her. "Alright I got some new colors, I got some Cambodian hair, we can do wand curls. It's up to you."
"Cut it off.", I said looking into the mirror mounted on the wall. I needed a new look to begin my fresh outlook on life.
"This too much, you been growing your hair out since your junior year. You sure you want to do this?"
"Yes ma'am. As long as I don't look old afterwards I'm ready to cut it off."
"Alright. Since you cutting it off, let me have a moment a silence for this long beautiful that took me years to grow."
"Shut up Victoria!" I said laughing at her as she to had herself an actual moment of silence.
"Alright, So how short are we talking? Are we talking like Rihanna short when she did the high-low cut, or are you taking it to the extreme Dej Loaf pixie cut?"
"You know, I'm think I'm going for the Dej Loaf Pixie Cut but I'm not sure how I'm going to look ." I said laughing at Victoria's analogies of the hairstyles.
"Girl, I've been doing your hair since you were a child. I'd never let you do anything that wouldn't look good, especially since I'm doing it. Girl, when I'm done with you, you'll be like let a nigga try me!", Victoria said laughing as she began to chop off my hair. As she began to cut my hair, I felt like memories were slowly leaving my mind. All the pain, Q put me through. From him leaving me with the twins all the time to him fucking with random hoes. I had my assumptions but I just expected more out of him. Although, I was taught that you can take a man away from the hood, but you can't take the hood away from a man. Q was always the ones to deal with drugs and hoes no matter where he lived or what was at home waiting for him. It was just a matter of time before his cheating caught up with him and lost him everything. I still love him and value our relationship, but I don't respect him as a man nor husband. I mean, how could you leave your kids at home with your wife, who already cooks and cleans for you all the time? It just doesn't make sense. By the time I had fully escaped into my thoughts and memories, Victoria was telling me to look in the mirror because she had finished.
"Already? I could've sworn you just started."
"No, Lia. I've been working on your hair for about an hour and some minutes. You've just been stuck with that stale look on your face like something is wrong. Is there something on your mind Liana Williams?", She said as she gave me a concerned look.
"Marriage troubles."
"What? No, Lia what happened?" She said as she sat in the empty chair beside me.
"He had been cheating on me with a random hoe, and it was like she would just pop up everywhere we went. She would just keep calling and texting my phone from a blocked number, until one day she showed up at the house looking for Q. Which had me questioning why and it led to an argument and Q told me that he was fucking her. That's when I snapped and told her that she can have him, I'll send the papers in the mail, and he'll see his kids anytime he wants to at a relatives' house. But I swear he better not show up at the twin's first birthday party with her."
"Wow, Lia! That's horrible but I'm proud of you. You did the right thing by letting him go. You're too good for him anyway. Any man who cheats on you is highly unintelligent, which perfectly describes Q, and I doubt after all that has happen that he'll bring that hoe to your kids birthday party, but hey you never know with Q."
"Yeah, you can say that again! But thanks Victoria! You did this hairstyle! I'm looking flawless! You got me feeling myself!" I said laughing as I handed her a crisp hundred dollar bill.
"Nah, this is on the house Lia."
"No, Victoria. Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure! Girl, I've known you for forever. Let this one be on the house. Just save me a plate of cake." She said laughing.
"Already done. If you're not doing anything, the party is Sunday from 2-6."
"Oh, you already know I'm there. I love birthday parties especially since it's my little nephews. I got to get them a present."
"You don't have to do that. You're presence is already the best gift, we could ask for." I aid hugging her.
"Awe, that's so sweet! I'll be there, but in the mean time, you better not forget to wrap your hair. I didn't cut all that long hair for you to go and mess it up in the first night now!" She said partially serious.
"Yes, Victoria. I won't forget! Anyway, I have to got get the boys from their godparents because ain't no telling what they have my sons doing."
"Okay, Lia! See you at the party!"
"See there! Love you."
"I love you too, sweet pea!" She said. As I walked out the door, Tall, brown-skin guy with large brown eyes and waves bumped into me and knocked onto the ground.
"I'm sorry, darling! I didn't see you come out." I said.
"It's okay. What's happening Ratface?"
Only one person ever called me that, "Dorian?"
"Dorian Williams, in the flesh."
"How's everyone?"
"Honey, that's a sit-down discussion. But hey, listen I have to go and pick up my sons. Do you have any plans Sunday because I would love to catch up since its been some years?"
"You have kids, Lia? Nah, I'm off on Sundays. I'm free. Why what's up?
"Yes, I have twin sons. Their first birthday party is Sunday at my house from 2-6. We'd love it if you came, and what do you mean you're off? You finally got a job? Wow! Dorian, you all grown up!" I said laughing and mocking him.
" Yeah, I'm an assistant Divorce Attorney."
"Great, cause I might need your assistance but make sure you come! Here's my number, so you can get the address. Bye Dorian!"
I fared my adieus and went to go buy the boys their outfits.
