CHAPTER 13
~Nicola’s P.O.V~
Today Daddy woke me up early. He told me we were meeting up with Carter and his family to sign us up for Daycare together.
I had no idea what daycare was, but I knew I would be with Carter so it was okay.
I was downstairs with NiNi eating breakfast while the rest were upstairs deciding what I would wear, and who would take me to daycare.
“More NiNi! Nicola wants more pwease!!” I held my plate out to Niall, who slapped another pancake on the plate.
“For a little girl, you sure do have a big appetite!” Niall smiled at me.
“Im a big girl NiNi! Me birthday is in a week!!” I giggled and smiled proudly.
Niall chuckled and ate another bite.
“That’s right! And how old will you be?” Niall asked me.
“Four!” I held up four fingers.
Niall chuckled again and put up another finger. Oops, I must have put up three…
We heard the boys loud footsteps boom down the stairs.
They all popped into the room and helped themselves to pancakes.
“ALRIGHTY! We have decided! Nicola, your outfit is upstairs on the bed; Eleanor is coming over soon to help you get ready for today! And since you will be dressed as my mini-me, I will take you to daycare!” Louis exclaimed.
“Hey hey hey!” Eleanor walked into the room.
“Hey babe!” Louis kissed Eleanor, while I covered my eyes with my hands.
“El, how did you get in here…?” Liam asked her.
“PLEASE! It’s so predictable where you guys keep the key.” Eleanor winked at me, making me giggle.
“There’s the cutie! You exited for today?” Eleanor came over and picked me up, placing me on her hip.
“I dunno what Daycare is… but I will be with Carter!!” I told her while she walked upstairs with me.
“Don’t worry, daycare is a lot of fun! You and Carter can make new friends too!” She exclaimed.
The outfit on the bed was a red skirt, blue and white striped shirt that tucked into the skirt, and mini blue TOMS. A cute red hair bow lay beside it, with a gold heart necklace.
“Wow! You are gonna be the most stylish kid at daycare!” She looked at the outfit.
I giggled and got dressed.
Eleanor did my hair: my naturally big curls with two braids on the top of my head, crowning my head. She placed the bow at the back where the two braids connected.
The final touch, she put my necklace on.
“Turn around so I can see!” Eleanor gushed.
I turned around to give her a good view of my outfit. The big smile on my face never fading.
“OMG! You look like a mini Louis! This is so cute!” Eleanor hugged me tight.

Louis and me just pulled up into Daycare, it was a big building with a sign on the front that read
ღ Happy Hearts Learning Center!ღ
There were big windows on the front of the building, with lots and lots of other kids inside.
“No daddy Nicola doesn’t want to go to daycare.” I crossed my arms and pouted.
“Nicola, you need to! Daddy needs to go to work! We’ve taken a few months off already, we can’t keep putting it off.” He looked at me sternly.
“You- You is leaving?” Tears built in my eyes. But, daddy is supposed to stay with me and Carter all day!
“Yes Nicola… Daddy needs to leave. But daycare is fun! It has lots of friends and toys in there! Even snack time!” He smiled at me.
He opened the door to the backseat and picked me up. I bursted into tears when he walked me up to the door.
“NO DADDY DON’T LEAVE ME HERE PLEASE! ME DOESN’T WANT TO STAY PLEASE DADDY!” I sobbed into his shoulder, refusing to let go of him.
“Look theres Carter! Go play with him, daddy will be back in a few hours.” He rubbed my back and kissed my head.
