Back again?- Chapter 13

    Kian looked at me with a smile. How can he be smiling when he brought me back to the place that has caused all my pain?

    "Why would you bring me back to the orphanage?" I asked quietly. Oh no. Was he returning me because I did something wrong.

   Kian's smile turned to a frown. "I thought that you would like to come back to see some friends..." He said.

   "Um okay. Let's go in I guess." I said politely. I didn't have any friends here but I decided not to burst his bubble.

   We both got out of the car and entered the orphanage. I walked slowly as I studied the newly painted light purple walls.

   Kian grabbed my hand and led me down the hall and to a bright pink room. We entered and I saw a girl that looked maybe 14 sitting on a pink bed.

   "Hi! I'm Sophia!" She said with a grin. Kian smiled back at her and turned to me.

  "So I the real reason I brought you here was so you could help me make a decision." He said and kissed my forehead.

    "No. You can't be. I thought I was enough but apparently I'm not good enough to make you happy. So now you need a replacement!" I yelled as a tear slid down my face. I pulled away from his hand and ran outside to the car. I opened the back door, grabbed my penny board, and skated away.

    I glanced back and didn't see him so I guess I'm not worth going after. How dare he replace me like this.

   I needed up going to my favorite park. I put my penny board on the branch and sat down. I pulled out my phone to see 4 new texts from Sam.

•Kian told me what happened
•Call me plz

I clicked call and put the phone up to my ear. I was still crying and I started to shake. No not now. This is NOT a good time for a panic attack.

  "Meloni! Where are you? It's been an hour and we're worried!" I heard Sam yell.

   I wanted to talk but I suddenly couldn't and I could barely breathe. I was shaking bad and my phone fell out of my hand.

   "Meloni? Please talk to me. I know you're mad but I'm here for you." Sam said quickly.

    I managed to end the call and text him one word.

•Meloni? I'm going to try to find you

He texted back immediately and I felt very dizzy. I passed out and fell to the ground.

------Sam's Perspective-----

I was freaking out. Meloni was in some type of trouble. Maybe she got kidnapped. I had to find her. I ran up to her room and went on her laptop.

   Luckily, she had set up a phone tracker on her computer in case she lost her phone. It showed a green dot at the park a few blocks away. I ran downstairs and straight to where she was.

    At first I didn't see her. Then I saw her limp body next to a bench. A tear came to my eye. No she's going to be okay. I dial 911 on my phone and ran over to her.

    I cradled her in my arms and softly sang as I waited for an ambulance.

  I suddenly heard the seen approach and two men hopped out the back of the ambulance with a stretcher. I picked her up and carried her over.

   "You did a good job. Are you family?" One of them asked.

  "Yeah I'm her, um, brother." I said quickly. He nodded and I hopped in with her. We rode quickly and I called all the boys one the way there. When we arrived, everyone was there already. Since Kian was her dad, he got to come in the examination room.

    After about 20 minutes Kian came out looking very pale and horrified. I immediately stood up.

"So what happened?" I asked.

"They said she had a severe panic attack and she couldn't breathe but she should be fine." He said it all quickly. I just nodded and sat down.

*Two hours later*

I don't understand why it's taking so long. Kian went in the room a few times but he refused to tell anyone what's happening.

A doctor walked into the waiting area and looked around.

"Meloni's family?" He asked. We all nodded. "Well, she has anxiety and severe depression which is what could've cause this. This was a panic attack that caused her to stop breathing. We are going to put her on medication that will prevent this from happening again." After he said this, he walked out of the room.

    "Can I see her?" I asked Kian. He nodded slowly. I got up and walked into the room. There was Meloni laying on the bed with her eyes barely open. She grinned when I walked in.

"Hey, Sam. Sorry if I scared you. I'm okay. " Meloni said quite weakly.

"Well, they're going to put you on medication that.." Once I said ''medication'' her eyes went wide.

" No no no. I'm not doing that. " She interrupted me.

"Okay. I guess I'll tell them that you don't want it." I replied. I was really worried about her.

"Well thanks for visiting Sam." She said. That's my cue to leave. I went back to the waiting room.

The doctor came in the room about 20 minutes later. "Well Meloni is able to come home as long as she takes her medication and rests." He stated. We all nodded.

Kian signed some papers while Ricky and Jc helped Meloni her to the car. We all squeezed into one car. The ride home was silent.

Once we got home, Kian and Meloni started to scream at eachother in the living room.

"Maybe if you hadn't tried to replace me then I'd be fine!" Meloni yelled.

"Oh now its my fault?! You can't run away from your problems! You shouldn't have run away!" Kian screamed as a tear ran down his face.

Meloni started to sob and ran to her room. She slammed her door shut. Kian fell onto the couch and put his head in his hands as I heard him cry.

I need to comfort Meloni. I can talk to Kian later. I went upstairs and knocked lightly on her door. No answer. I opened her door a crack.

I saw Meloni and Trevor on the floor. Trevor was on top of her and they were violently making out.

I backed away and crept to the guest room. I have to admit that I was heartbroken. I had started to have feelings for Meloni, but I guess Trevor liked her first and I have to respect that.

I laid down and a tear fell down my face. I eventually fell to sleep.
