Dylan's POV
"Finally!! The weekend!" Bree says after the bell rings Friday afternoon.
"I know. I've only gone to public school for a week, and I'm already sick of school!" I say and Bree laughs.
"Yeah. Fair enough." Bree agrees. "You're coming over tonight, right?"
"Of course!" I respond enthusiastically. "I'll be there around 7. Is that okay?"
"That's perfect." And with that, we close our lockers and walk out the door.

I didn't have a problem finding the Davenport house because it's, obviously, huge. I knock on the door, and Leo answers.
"Oh, hey Dylan. Come on in." He greets me as I walk in. "You can just put your stuff on the couch."
"Sounds good." I reply. "Wow. You house is beautiful."
"Thanks. But I can't take any of the credit. All I did was move in." He says with a chuckle. I laughed a little at that. We both sit down on the couch.
"Where is everyone else?" I ask after an awkward moment of silence.
"They're probably in the lab finishing up training." Leo answers easily. We have gotten closer the past few days. He told me a few stories about himself. I told him things about myself, in the vaguest of terms.
"Can I ask you some more about yourself?" Leo asks out of no where.
"Yeah. Sure. Shoot."
"Do you have any intention of framing me for anything or harming me in any way?" I was slightly taken aback by his question. It took a few moments for me to answer his question because I was so shocked that he asked me something like that.
"Not particularly. No." I answer still slightly confused.
"Okay good." Leo seems pleased with my answer. "Do you play any instruments?" Okay. This conversation is taking many sharp corners.
"I play the guitar." And here comes my guitar story. "My dad got me this awesome guitar for my fourteenth birthday. But of course, my brother got super jealous. So then the next year, he was starting public school. On the first day he went to school, he asked me if he could borrow it to make friends. I was like 'Yeah. Sure. Whatever.' So he did. And I think he did make friends. Anyway. He got home that night without my guitar. I was like, 'dude, where's my guitar?' And he pulled something out of his pocket. It was a piece of my guitar! I was so mad. He told me the story of how he was trying to get this nosy kid off his back so he decided the break the guitar and blame the kid for it. I went to tell my dad what happened, and dad said that it was my fault for letting him borrow it. I was so mad. My brother and I were never the same after that." I finished with a great big sigh. I looked up to see Adam, Bree, and Chase standing there with sad expressions.
"How much of that did you guys here?" I ask hesitantly.
"Pretty much all of it." Bree says.
"That's awful." Chase says after sympathetically.
"Yeah well. There's nothing I can do about it now." I rationalize.
"On that depressing note, let's watch a movie!" Bree starts off sad, but ends up all happy. "What should we watch?"
"I have been dying to watch How to Build a Better Boy." I say really happily. Everyone else agrees and Chase turns it on.
I throw my stuff on the ground and sit where it was. I was on the end of the couch, Leo sat next to me, then Bree, then Adam, and finally Chase on the other end.
The movie was so good! I think we all teared up at the end a little bit. But I did miss a little bit of the movie because Adam started a popcorn war. It is really hard to have a popcorn war against three bionic teenagers.
"This was a lot of fun." Bree laughed. "Okay, I can't believe I just said that while hanging out with my brothers." We all started laughing.
"Yeah. We couldn't ever do this with Marcus." Chase concluded. They all nodded.
"That's because he never wanted me to be around whenever you guys all hung out." Leo added. By this time, I was slightly confused. So I asked about it.
"Who's Marcus?" I ask them. There faces turn totally serious. They look at each other, then at me, then back at each other, then back at me again.
"It's kind of a long story." Leo says.
"Well, I'm sleeping over so I have all night." I press not-so-subtly.
They explained everything. And they weren't kidding about a long story. It took over an hour to explain everything. They explained everything from the first day they met, the band, and the broken guitar. Leo explained, in great detail, the day that Marcus died.
"So that's pretty much it." Bree finished.
"That's it? It took you an hour and a half to explain that." I look at them dumbfounded. "It's midnight!"
"Yeah. Oh well." Adam brushes it off. "Who's hungry?"
"None of us. We should all get to bed." Chase the fun killer says. We all groan. Adam, Chase, and Leo say goodnight and walk away.
Bree and I get our sleeping bags set up quickly. We talk a little bit before she falls asleep. I drift off not to long after.
