Chapter 15

"Oh my god! She's awake." I heard

I shot my eyes open, and sat up. Nurses stared at me with a dazzled expression

"Oh, hi." I said

"Go call the Dolan's, Maria." A nurse said to another

"You must have questions." The nursed turned back to me

"I guess so." I sighed

"How long was I out?"

"Almost a year."

How is this possible? Ethan and I should be in college. He probably forgot all about me. Hell, he probably moved on

"What month is this?"

"February, 2016."

Oh god. She wasn't lying. I look like shit, I'm guessing

I zoned out for a while before I heard a woman's shriek

"Amelia!"

Lisa, she looks wonderful. Along with was Grayson, and his dad I'm assuming. But no Ethan

"Lisa! Looking beautiful as ever."

"Oh, stop. How are you doing?"

"Well I don't know. My memory is slightly fuzzy."

"So... Where's Ethan?"

She shared a glance with the man, and pursed her lips together holding in tears

"Well, there's no easy way to say this." She started

He can't be dead. There's no way

"He hasn't woken up, but we couldn't just take him, or you off life support."

Oh, well there's still hope I guess

"He's our son, we wouldn't dare. They said he'll wake up... Eventually."

But what am I supposed to do without the love of my life?
