*two weeks later*

*trigger warning*

Ethan has had his sad moments, and I know he would tell me anything. I just know there's something else though. Something missing. He claims he barely knew the girl with his friend when they got hit, but I know he knew her better

It was Friday after school when I heard sobbing from Ethan's room

When I first met him he wasn't as sad, until he opened up to me

I cautiously crept over to his room, and peeked in

He was looking at photo's of something and crying

I walked into the room, and sat down without a word

"I-I did know her."

I nodded my head as he continued

"And. She was my girlfriend. We had been dating for two years. I decided not to go to the party, so they went together and Alex was drunk. He drove them home, and not only killed him and Emma, but a whole family. I-I just wish I could have gone, I wouldn't have to feel this pain! Why me?! The worst part is that she was cheating on me the whole time. Every once in a while I'll stumble upon pictures of us all at the carnival, or just having fun, and it is literally killing me. I'm such a failure I couldn't even kill myself correctly the first two times. You're the only thing keeping me alive anymore."

I held him close and didn't let go for a while

"Ethan, I promise I won't ever leave you."

Aw, I thought this was kind of cute. Idk, I just feel like their bond is growing bigger, and soon it might blossom into something else? JUST YOU WAIT
