That damn video will always haunt me. We didn't think anything like this could happen. A few days ago someone broke into Feldys place and left it playing on his laptop and let me tell you, i've never seen that man so scared in my life. He demanded we go into hiding and hasn't even told us where we're going. Right now, Dave is driving us to the airport. He hasn't let us out of his sight since the threat. We haven't quite figured out why they're targeting us specifically, but we know they are not to be messed with. We soon arrive and after sneaking past some paps, we make it to check in.
"Here" Dave says while handing us our tickets.
"Atlanta? We're hiding in Georgia?" Mike asks with a rude tone.
"They have an association there that deals with gangs, the president of it used to be in the Latin Kings, be thankful they agreed to this."
"So this is it" I sulk "No shows, no touring until this is resolved."
"Afraid so Luke, you boys stay safe and dont get yourselves killed, got it?"
We all nod in response.
We walk through security and make it to the waiting area. Dave isn't coming though, he's staying in LA to keep an eye on Feldy. I plop down on a chair and look over at the other guys. They all look so drained. None of us have had a proper nights sleep in a while.
"So we're just gonna hide in a hotel in Georgia?" Calum questions.
"Not even a Hotel" Ashton explains "apparently we're staying at someone's house."
"Well it could be worse" Calum chirps
"How"
"We could already be dead."
I didn't argue. This whole situation was shit but we're still alive. I put in my headphones and waited for our flight to be called. Atlanta isn't too bad. I enjoyed what I saw on what little time we've had there. I have to be hopeful. If we're gonna make it through this we can't go around terrified at everything or we'll lose our minds. I laid back and let the music take over my thoughts. I even started dozing until Micheal tapped my shoulder.
"Come on dude they called our flight."
We grabbed our things and trudged toward a the gate. This is it. We're heading into our new life
and I'm scared as hell.
