Asteroid

79 20 17

I'm like an asteroid floating in deep empty space
I'm floating into a black hole
Cannot love and cannot be loved
There's no where to run, nowhere to hide

Always reminded that it's a cruel and lonely world
Every time hurt by someone who claims to love you
And putting up a fake smile gets harder with each smile
There's too much pressure from everyone, everywhere

Now the heart needs to be locked up, but it's for its own good
To shield it from external pain and torture
The emotions are caged within and not expressed
And its eating its way out from the inside
Worrying about death but will probably die from worry
And it's tearing me about bit by bit

So like an asteroid floating in deep empty space
Each bump taking off a piece from it
Whether it crashes into a star or withers away
It may take a second or a hundred years
Although it's journey is lonely and without direction
It's inevitable end is sure to come
