CHAPTER 5
~ELLA'S POV~
My alarm clock went off, and I turned it off. Finally school. I knew that Drew would probably annoy me again, but no slaps from Dad.
I got up and went into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and hair, washed my face, then put some cream on my face. After, I ran to my closet, and took out some black hot pants and a pink top out. After I changed, I put up my hair in a messy bun. I was impressed by how well it looked. I, then, put on my pink ballerinas and I was ready to go.
I quickly ran downstairs to the kitchen. I could hear sounds coming from the tv. I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen. I ate bread with jam and butter on it.
I put my bag on, and put on a black cap, then ran outside to the bus stop and waited.
~DREW'S POV~
Today I wore my blue sneakers, blue jeans, a blue T-shirt, and a black leather jacket like Ella yesterday...I put on my blue cap to finish it off, then ran to the bus stop and waited until it came.
The bus came finally, and I stepped inside. I was looking around and my focus stopped on Ella. She looked amazing today and my jaw dropped unwilling. She looked at me and I quickly turned away, then took a seat by my best friend, Josh.
"Hey Josh, What's up?" I asked.
"Hey Drew, nothing. What about you?" Josh asked.
"Nothing.." I answered. A lie..I thought about this girl that, I saw on the bus. Then, I thought about yesterday at home.
"Hey, are you okay?" Josh asked, looking at me curiously.
"Yeah, Why wouldn't I be?" I said. Another lie. I felt so bad right now, but I could see Ella and that made me feel better. I smiled.
"YEAH. OF COURSE I FEEL GOOD! I'M DREW!!" I shouted and laughed and Josh laughed with me.
We arrived at school and I sighed. I stepped outside the bus and I saw her again. She had beautiful legs, wonderful hair, and an amazing body. Damn. I was staring at her too long. I saw Josh walking to school and I ran up to him.
"Hey! Don't walk to class without me!" I screamed to Josh, and he laughed.
"Well, I didn't want to disturb you while you were looking at Ella." He said, laughing a bit.
"NO! I WASN'T LOOKING AT HER! She's disgusting... " I screamed at first, then mumbled.
"You're lying" Josh said.
"No, I'm not"
"I'm not stupid, I saw how you were looking at her on the bus then in front of the bus. Admit it."
"Admit what?"
"That you like her. No. That you love her" Josh said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"I L..."
"So you do!" He said, laughing.
"NO I DON'T!" I yelled.
"Here's a tip: don't hesitate or she won't be yours..." He whispered in my ear, making me shudder, which Josh had to laugh at. Then we walked to school.
Do I really love her, or do I just like her? I thought. I shook my head. Never. Never in a million years, but I shouldn't say that... maybe I was just lying to myself.
~ELLA'S POV~
I waited in front of the bus because Anna wanted to talk to her crush who was also our best friend, Nick. Ella has a crush on him since the 5th grade.
I saw Drew again. He was still staring at me for some reason. He has been staring at me for a looooonnng time now. He then ran to Josh, and Anna came to me. She looked really happy.
"I just saw Drew looking at you. For a long time." She said, walking into the school. "MAYBE HE LOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEESSSS YOU!" She giggled.
"Don't be ridiculous. He would never love me." I said rolling my eyes. But she ignored my answer.
"And you looked at him for a loooooonnnnggg time" she said, giggling some more.
"No, I hate-" I started but Anna cut me off.
"You love him. My advice for you is not to hesitate too long or he'll find someone else.." She said.
I stopped, shocked at what she said, as she walked away happily. I soon ran to catch up with her, but we walked in silence.
Do I really like him? Maybe even love him? No. I can never love him...
