Chapter 13

~Drew's POV~

It has been 4 days since the almost kiss and we still couldn't talk to each other normally. We had an awkward atmosphere between us and neither one of us could break it. I didn't want that. Suddenly I've had an idea. I took my phone out of my jeans pocket and searched on my contact list for a certain name. Then I found it.
Ella..

I've started to message her.

Drew: Meet me at the at the little park near your house at 3pm.

It has been 5 minutes and she still didn't reply. I sighed and laid my phone on the bed closing my eyes. But suddenly my phone vibrated. My eyes shot open and I quickly grabbed my phone. There was a message of Ella. A small smile crept on my lips.

Ella: Sure, see you in 10 minutes.

I put my jacket on as fast as I could and ran to the park.
Thank god, my house isn't far from hers.

And there I saw her while she was waiting patiently on the bench. As she looked up, her eyes were looking at mine. She was dressed in skinny jeans and a plain green shirt. Over the shirt was resting a black cardigan.
Even in just normal clothes, she looked adorable.

I thought it was funny. In other cheesy stories, people need to fall in love with the other person really late. But this was later than I've expected. It has been a few years and I just realized my feelings for her now. I just hoped, that she has the same feelings towards me. I quickly shook my head and walked up towards her. She smiled and hugged me.

"Hey", she said in a calming voice. Ella had a very beautiful voice.

"Hey", I responded and hugged her back. "I..uhmm..need to talk to you."

She nodded slowly her head. "Okay. Shoot."

"It's about the almost kiss." She widened her eyes.
Oh my god. This is actually happening.

"Ella. I'm tired of waiting. I can't stop my feelings towards you. I really..really like you. Love you.. Ella. I really want you to be mine.."

She was quiet for a minute. I was afraid.. Was it really too fast?

"Look, I have the same feelings for you too." I grinned at that. I was too happy. "But I can't be with you together."

I felt my heart shattering in million pieces.

"But why? We love each other. So why can't it work between us?" I asked.

"Did you even look at yourself in the past few years? You were probably making out with every girl but me and the others, which is good to be honest. I don't want to be with someone, who I can't trust with a serious relationship." She answered and looked away as she slowly teared up. It was my fault.

"But I didn't do that for the last couple of weeks." I stated quietly.

"You didn't now. But what if it happens soon again? I'm sorry but you need to prove me, that you've changed" She said and ran away.

Hey guys! I hope you've liked this chapter! Today I've realized how many grammar mistakes, I did in the past few chapters cx some even didn't make sense. I try to correct them, although it would be better, if I would have an editor! So if you want to help, please message me! I want to make this story more interesting and grammar is actually the most important thing in stories cx Thx Thx Thx for these cute comments in the last chapters. You've made me write it again. And it seriously impressed me. But still it's the same. I can't update thaaaat fast as you've found out. But lately I've got a looooot of time because of the holidays, although I definitely won't update on my birthday lol I want to chill there haha oh I talk too much XD
