Terrible Disaster (Ash Costello/Chris Motionless)

Chapter 10.

Chris POV.

It's been a month since Ash left. I have no clue where she went or where she could be. She hasn't spoken to anyone from her band either. She hasn't posted anything on her social media accounts. It's like Ashley Costello just vanished. People have been noticing that she's been silent, and keep tweeting her, we have even tweeted her a few times, but no response to anyone. Sabrina even tried to start talking to me again, but I put a stop to that real quick, but she seemed to know that Ash left, but how? I was starting to get worried. I was sitting at my house all alone, well except for Barnabus, and Gremlin cause I couldn't bring myself to get rid of them.

I was checking Ashley's Twitter with the dogs by my side when the guys from my band, and the guys from New Year's Day walked in. The dogs got excited hoping it was Ash, but when they realized it wasn't they cried, and laid their heads back down. I scratched both their heads trying to comfort them.

"We have something for you." Ricky said breaking the silence. I looked up at him.

"Unless it's you know who, then I don't care." I said you can't say Ashley's name, because it upsets the dogs.

"It's not her, but it's from her." Nikki said stepping towards me with an envelope in his hands. I gave him a look. "Just trust us." He said handing the envelope to me.

"We all opened ours, but if you want to be alone we can leave." Angelo said.

"No." I stated just looking at the envelope afraid to open it. You could tell it was from her just by reading my name on the front it was her handwriting. After taking a deep breath I slowly started to open it. I finally got the envelope open, and was both shocked and relieved to see a letter. I took it out and started to read it out loud.

'Dear Chris, I'm so sorry for having to run away like this, but I know I was hurting you, and I didn't want to hold you back. I didn't tell you I was leaving, because I knew you would talk me out of it. So I just trusted my instincts, and left. I hope you don't hate me, but I had too! I'm not going to tell you where I am, nor am I going to give you my number, because I know you, and I know you'd come find me, but I will tell you this I do still get on my Twitter account, so if you ever miss me, or simply just want to talk DM me okay? I told the rest of the guys the same thing.... The voices have gotten better btw. Granted they're still there, but they seemed to have calmed. I did have an episode probably a week after I left, but ever since then I've been good. Chris I don't want you to worry okay? That's one of the main reasons I left in the first place, so you wouldn't be hurt. Keep the boys in line for me would ya? I don't want Motionless, and NYD to drift away, because of me. And also if you haven't gotten rid of them yet, please take care of B and G for me. You know they were my babies.... Well I guess that's it. I love you so much Chris, and I appreciate everything you've done. You have no idea how much you mean to me... Be good. Love forever Ashley.

I wiped a single tear off my cheek before looking back up at the guys. "Well at least we know that she's alive." I said. "What did yours say?" I asked.

"All ours pretty much said the same thing which was take care of Chris, I'm okay, and I miss you, and message her on Twitter. she kept ours short and sweet." Ricky said. I nodded my head, and looked at the guys in her band, and knew there was something else they weren't telling me just by their faces.

"What about yours?" I asked. Nikki just shook his head. Ghost patted his back.

"Go ahead and tell him he deserves to know." He said. Nikki took a deep breath then exhaled before speaking.

"She said she wants New Year's Day to find another lead singer, and continue on with the band." He chocked out. I sat there shocked. Did I really just hear that right?
