The Appointment

The next morning I woke up my appointment was at 11, so I had time to eat and stuff like that. I took a shower and put on a dress with some flats and laid my hair back. I went and cooked me and Kayla some breakfast and I was finna wake her up until somebody knocked on my door. I walked to the door and said "who is it?"
"Jaquan" and I opened the door, "Good Morning ma"
"Morning pa"
"Shidd you know I love it when you call me daddy anyway"
I looked and him and started laughing, right then Kay walked out and mumbled "well it wasn't yo name she was calling last night pa" and I started laughing. However Quan ass was not laughing "you giving my lil pretty pussy up to Kayla?"
I looked at his face and laughed harder "boy it's my pussy and she ate that thang right too", face was even more hilarious then he had a disgusted mean mug on his face. Me and Kayla just kept laughing "Thanks for the food Tiffy Baby" she said.
"You're welcome love"
"So this lil bugga thug going with you today?"
"Yep so what you gone do?"
"Go to the trap and get some shit done, then go to my 9 to 5" Kayla was one of the head leaders at the trap however she was low key with it. Kayla knew everything she knew who was targeting us, who had the next best good shit, and when we needed to take it up a notch. Kayla ain't play she was one mean ass bitch she ain't have mercy on no nigga, but that's how the game works can't be to close to trap members for they might become yo enemy.
"Oh okay"
"Wait wait wait her ass trapping to?" Jaquan said eyes wider than a strippers legs.
"Yes she one of the greatest now let's go, Kay when you leave please don't leave ya key this time, lock my doors, turn my lights off make sure the stove is off and my house still standing please." And with that said me and Quan walked to the car.
20 minutes later we were at the doctors office, we got out the car and walked in. Since I'm known by face as soon as we got in we was in the back. My doctor walked in and looked at both me and Quan she stopped when she seen Quan's face, he looked at her and was looking like what the fuck you staring for. I finally spoke "Hey Ms. Mayland" and as soon as I said that I remembered our talk we had, she told me how she use to be strung out and had a son, and how his father was a deadbeat and he had her last name, she also told me how she gave him up for adoption cause she ain't wanna be seen by her child while she was strung out. She never told me his name but she always said she had eyes on him and if she seen him she would know, and I guess she just seen him and she knew.
"Jaquan could you give us a minute" he said okay and walked out and and I closed the door.
"Ms. Mayland" she looked up at me with more than hurt in her eyes, in her eyes I seen more than tears, I seen anger, pain, confusion, guilt, and multiple thoughts.
"Yes baby?"
"Is Jaquan Tyrese Mayland your son?" She nodded her head yes "well I'm not going to tell him unless you want me too, and you are about to have a grand baby, and you are taking me and your grand baby through the steps. Don't be sad you did what you had to do as a mother and when you do decide to tell him I will make sure he knows that!! You tried and you loved him enough to let go even though you didn't want to so wipe those tears up, and be it today you tell him or next month you have to tell him something cause your baby boy is lost!! He has been trying to find you as well"
"He has" she cut me off "but why would he be trying to find a piece of shit like me I let him down..."
"Hush with all that mess you got this he should understand and if he doesn't I will make him understand you both have been looking for one another and haven't been able to find each other but now is your chance."
She looked at me with hope in her eyes and gave me the okay to let him back in. He came back in and I laid on the table.
"How have you been feeling?"
"I've been well a little morning sickness from here and there a little stress but nothing I couldn't get over."
"Stress isn't good Tiffany" she said "you must stay calm and stay away from those thing of which may stress you out"
"Yes ma'am"
"Everything looks good and healthy so you're good" she wiped the gel off my stomach and I pulled my shirt down, Jaquan kept smiling the whole time glad to see he's on board with all this but now is the time she has to let him know.
She look at me and I smiled and nodded for her to go on, she began to speak "Jaquan I am"
"I know who you are" he said cutting her off with no emotion.
"Well can I explain"
"There ain't shit to explain"
"YOU FINNA SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN, you are not about to talk to her like that not around me you ain't make me get unprofessional and lose my mind and religion in here if you want to I promise you won't be able to come back understood??" He looked at me and nodded "I'm sorry he said"
"Okay go ahead Ms. Mayland please"
"Well Jaquan I was strung out and I refused to allow you to see me that way, I would not let you see me out here doing dumb shit when I got my life together I was trying to find you I gave my life to Christ, and I've been clean I prayed and prayed you would come back and I would find you I've been beating myself up about this for years I had no idea she knew you and I have told her the story of what happened I have became really close with Tiffany. I really need you to understand I love you please forgive me." She was crying full blown and he was dropping a few tears he wiped his face fast I began to hug him. He stood up hugged her and walked out the door I told Ms. Mayland he would come around and I would make sure of it, I told her I love her and I'll see her next time and this was a new beginning for the both of them.
