Today is the 4th of July. I got dressed in this(outfit above) because it's hot out and later we're going swimming. We wake up at sunrise and we raise the flag then let Becky's bird fly away. Ty and I are practicing our dance when I see my dad get kicked in the balls by Rob. I pause the music and we go over to see what's going on. Greg and Andre were watching us so Greg grabs my hand as we walk over.
"Okay me and him? Ok maybe I flirted with him but that was just to get your attention." Jasmine says.
"What about his snoring?" Rob asks.
"I heard it to." Amber says and walks up the steps to the dock. Rob kicked my dad again.
"We heard it from 3 rooms away." Bridget adds.
"Ok now Marcus is off the hook. You know that he wouldn't do that with your daughter. Not that she's, you know what I'm saying." Lenny says.
"Well then what happened to your head?" Rob asks.
"When I was changing into my pjs I got the feeling that some perv was looking through my window. So I went to go close the shades I tripped and hit my head." Jasmine explains.
Andre, Ty and Greg look at each other, and hen went down a step. I hit them on the back of their heads and go back to listening.
"Okay together like Lenny, oh please I answer your phone. It was your assistant, I ask him if he canceled the flight to Milan, and he said we did before we even came here!" Roxanne yells.
"He said that? Why would he say that? I mean-" Lenny start but gets cut off.
"Oh so he just made that up huh?" She asks.
"I'm not saying he made it up, I'm thinking that in his head he believes it is true." Lenny says
"Don't try and agent me Lenny! Stop trying to handle everybody and everything and start taking responsibility just once!" She yells.
"I'll take responsibility alright. I thought it would be better for our family to be here with normal people than in Milan." He says.
"Wait we're normal?" Deanne and I ask in sync.
"I was scared to tell you. It was easier for me to keep it secret." Lenny says to his wife, while ignoring Deanne and I.
"If you peel back any marriage there are secrets." Eric says. He the looks at his wife.
"Mine is that I love you very much." He adds quickly to her.
"Roxanne I didn't. Our kids are becoming snotty, spoiled, I, we got a nanny we-" Lenny says.
"So she is a nanny?" Kurt cuts in.
"No no no no no she's not a nanny she's a-" Lenny starts but gets cut off by Roxanne.
"Of course she a nanny! When does the lying stop?" Roxanne asks.
"It stops right after this. She's more of an opar, not really an-"
"Lenny!" Roxanne exclaims.
"Alright that's it the lying stops now. I won't lie to you ever again. I love you." Lenny says.
"Men lie! They can't help themselves. Kurt sure as hell lies!" Mama yells from the porch. We all turn to look at her. But when she said the last part we look at Kurt.
"What do I lie about Toe J Simpson?" Kurt asks.
"Oh please. The nanny?" Deanne asks.
"What about the nanny?" Kurt asks.
"You have a thing for her!"
"I do not have a thing for the nanny. I'm a married man, period. But did I enjoy having a nice conversation without a woman going 'Where's this?' and 'Did you pick up that?' Yeah."
"You can have a nice conversation with me."
"When? You work all day and when you come home you're tired all the time. You barely even touch me, or look at me." He sounds like a girl in their marriage.
"He sounds like an old woman!" Mama yells.
"Deanne you should've married Emvirto Denutzio(don't know what she said so I made it up) like I told you!" Mama continues.
"Yeah and if I stayed with him you'd be the one that's pregnant right now Mama!" Deanne yells to her.
"Your probably right sweetheart, I'll just butt out." Mama replies.
"Thank you!" Kurt yells.
"Look maybe I do take you for granted and I'm sorry. How's about I take you out every Thursday for date night?" Deanne asks.
"No Thursday's grey's anatomy, but any other night would be beautiful." Kurt tells her.
"As long as we're being honest, I might as well be honest too. I'm actually not a part owner of the lawn and furniture store. I don't even work there anymore, I got laid off in April. I rented the Caddie and acted like a uh big shot because I didn't want you guys to know." Eric says.
"Lamonsoff you don't have to hide anything from us. I'm sorry." Lenny says.
"Since we're getting things off of our chests I have a confession to make. I'm wearing a toupee." Rob says.
"No shit." The nanny says and I snicker.
"I have a confession to make. I'm really a man." Gloria says.
There was a bunch of 'I knew it's' and 'I told you so's'.
"I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding. I'm a little hurt that you all believed it. Never the less I know it's not my place, but after all I am older than anyone here-" Gloria starts.
"Hell yeah you are!" Mama yells.
"Despite the joking and hassling I see a lot of love here, and with love comes hostility. Like Rob when he snapped at me the other day-" she starts but I stop paying attention to whisper to Ty, Andre and Greg.
"Wait Mr.Hillard snapped at her? What happened?" I ask.
"I don't know I wasn't there." They all reply. I nod and start paying attention again.
"Why didn't you ever tell us she gets it?" Dad asks Rob.
"That's what I've been trying to tell ya!" Rob replies walking over to Gloria and hugging her. They start a group hug and Greg drags me over and pulls me into the group hug.
