Kate's pov
Krissy and I got ready for lunch. i still cant believe that Devin and TC are in a band. im starting to get nervous.
"you okay Kate?" Krissy asked while putting her make up on. "yeah. im fine." i said "scared?" i could tell she knew i was nervous "um yeah. i guess. i have never been on a date. im gonna mess it up with Devin. i just know it."i said confessing. "so you do like him. if you didnt you wouldnt be nervous." damn! how the hell does she get me to confess things like that to her.
krissy and i got ready and got in the car. and went to the restaurant. but we couldnt find them anywhere. "are you sure this is the place krissy?" i said while lookng around. thats when i seen my brother. shit why is he here! hes gonna kill me if he sees me "yeah."krissy said
i tapped on krissys shoulder and pointed to my brother.
"BOOO" krissy and i jumped and screamed we turn around to see TC, Devin, and 3 other guys." what the hell TC!"krissy said hitting his arm. i was still breathing hard from being scared. and devin was laughing "are you okay?" he said while giggling i nodded my head.
"come on"devin said while putting his arm around me. i looked at krissy and her eyes widened then she looked back at john. i stepped away from devin. and he got the hint. ugh! why did my brother have to be here? I really like Devin. and when he hugs me i feel so safe like nothings gonna happen. ugh i just made it awkward. i messed it up. im messing it up
we all walked to our table and sat down. tc and devin pulled out krissys and my chair for us. wow real gentlemen. "hi im jayk thats drew and blake"krissy and i waved to them "im kristal and this is katelynn"krissy introduced us.
"so where are yall from? drew asked. "texas" we both answered in unison. then kristals phone rang. "who is it?" i asked "jazz"she said. her phone stopped ringing then mine started. i pulled it out and texted her

Hey cant talk. krissy and i are hanging out with some guys. cal you aftrwards. love ya sis and so does krissy bye!
"jazz? isnt that you friend that acted like she was drunk when we first saw each other chika?" devin said. omg he remembers. even the chika part ugh. we all started laughing when he said that. "omg... jaz really...did..that?" krissy had trouble saying hat from laughing so much and i just nodded my head."i wanna meet her!" TC said laughing
TC Pov
""i wanna meet her!" this girl sounds funny. devin and kate make a cute couple i have to admit. i wonder if theyre dating. just kidding, i know theyre not. devin can hardly ask her to hang out. "so devin, kate? are you two dating?....yet?" the table got really quiet. everyones eyes widened. including krissys. and yet no answer from kate nor devin. "so yes? no?" i asked. devin really likes her and he needs to make a move before she gets taken. " um...no" devin finally answered. then i felt a hand shake my hand i turn to see that krissy is shaking my hand. "TC what was that about? " krissy asked quietly the rest of the table started talking again. "um sorry. i was just trying to push devin into making his move. he really likes her and needs to do something before shes taken." i said. "kate cant date. her brother wont let her. he doesnt even like her talking to guys. she took a risk even getting devins number."she said concerned.i had no idea "oh im really sorry i didnt know. and i didnt mean to embarrass her" its fine just please dont let it happen again" i nodded "i think its cute how you look over kate likes shes you little sister. i think your cute" i thought to my self i looked at krissy to see she was looking down blushing. then i realized the whole table was quiet. and was looking at me. "dude you said it out laud...again" devin said
"AWWWW tcs in love" jayk taunted "yall may continue with whatever it is yall were doing" i said. krissy and i were talking for anout 5 minutes then some guy tapped her shoulder.. "oh shit hide me!" i heard kate whisper to devin. "hey Kristal. wheres my little sister?"he said wow this is not gonna end good. "um she mentioned something about the skate park. but dont bother her because last time jazz and i texted her or called her she fell off her board and got hurt. any way shes there because she need some 'me' time." krissy said. "okay thanks" the guy said then walked away.i turned to kate wondering how he didnt see her. aww shes wearing devins hoodie. i really think they should date. "thanks for the cover story krissy" kate said while taking the hoodie off. "no problem. and you shouldnt take devins hoddie off. its adorable." krissy said and with that remaark i now know kate likes devin. kate and devin both started blushing. for the rest off lunch krissy and i talked to eachother and got surprisingly close. i felt like shes the one for me.
