"How much longer?" Lylia asked. They'd dropped off Freddie for his surgey the day before and they said we would get to see him today.
"Just a little more," the nurse said, "He still isn't feeling great, I don't think anyone would after surgery. It got a bit delayed so the effects of the drugs haven't quite worn of yet. So you just have to hang in there," She looked at the family, and then all the others in the room. Everyone looked so sad, crowed into the small lobby of the only unicorn/human hospital in miles. "Remember, not many doctors know how to treat unicorns so Mr. Temeraco can be busy. Yet I assure you, no matter how over booked he gets he is a professional, and if anyone can treat your Fredrick it's him," She added, trying to comphort the family. It didn't look like it was working, she sighed and left, at least she tried.
It was another hour until they let them see him. He was sleeping deepley after his surgery and there was a huge bandaid wrapped around his head. They could see a small bump where his horn used to be. Lylia gazed sadly at her brother as she turned to look out of the window to the left of his head. Thats when she saw an odd sight. A bird was flying before it suddenly burst into flames. It was moments after that when the same thing happened to the entire building.
It just took a few moments untill the walls and curtians were on fire. People and unicorns were scrambling in every direction, trying to find an exit. Smoke filled the air as the halls were being rampaged by everyong, Unicorns barging through flaming doors just to find another dead end and people blocking already over crowed exits. It was a tremendous disaster, a fatal step getting the unicorn race closer to the extinction Lylia had long predicted. The fire was huge, and it was visible miles on end as the remote, isolated ten story high hospital was going to it's doom.
Lylia, knowing there was no other escape rammed into the window, shattering it to pieces. It was then that the whole family ran out as their only option. Julie grapped Freddie and as she fell she could see his eyes flutter before he went back into a deep sleep as a cause of the drugs.
Falling from that building, I'm not going to lie, it hurt. I fell on my side and I think I broke my leg. We maybe battered up but I'm happy we're still alive. After the fall I remember scrambling to our car and drove off as I watched to building collapse with an air of black smoke hovering around it. Shortley after that I passed out and woke up lying in my stable wrapped in bandages.
I'm scared, ever since the sugery Freddie hasn't moved. Is he in a coma? Well I know he's still alive and I hope it stays that way. I know, deep down, that something terrible went wrong, and I don't think it'll be long before we figure out what it was. If I had to guess, I think, deep down, that the demons of Freddie's horn have been released, and they're angry.
It was another two days before Freddie finally woke up. I was in the middle of breakfeast when I heard Julie scream. Running over I could see her over Freddie, hugging him with a tear streaming over her cheek. She was happy to see him finally concious, and I quickly galloped over to join her.
"What happened," asked Freddie, dazed and looking around at the stable he hadn't seen in three days. He had a large bruise over her forhead and a cut going down his side from the fall. There was a small, crystal like stub on his forhead which was all that remained of his horn.

FantasyThis is my time capsule diary. It's the story of me, my family, and all the trouble that comes with it. Sure that wasn't an interesting description, but trust me, the actual story is a lot better.
