The Moment

Akihiko stood there with his guitar in hand. The sweat from his face. Him standing there as the crowd cheers loudly. He'd made a successful change. He had made it to the next level.

After the show. Akihiko walked home while walking he passed Aika.

"Hey Aika"

Aika looked at him and smiled brightly. She approached him along with another boy.

"Hey Akihiko how's it goin"

"Alright so far how about you"

"Just visiting someone oh yea I forgot to introduce you sorry Kira-kun"

"Kira-kun?"

"Mhm this is my boyfriend Kira Mashiro"

Akihiko felt as if he had been inside of a black hole for centuries.

"Boyfriend?"

Akihiko stood but smiled and pretended not to be hurt.

"Mhm yea"

Aika smiled

"Anyway we better get going I'll see you later Akihiko."

Akihiko looked at Aika's boyfriend ans sighed and smiled at him as if there were nothing wrong.

"Ok yea that's cool"

Aika and her boyfriend walked away in an awkward moment that he was unable to forget as he walked home. Akihiko had a new house which was an upgrade from where he used to live. He lived in the top floor of a hotel with a view that could rival New York. He sat there depressed and sad and started to write lyrics not knowing what he was doing it was only until he awoke in the morning bewildered by the lyrics that he'd wrote. He practiced until Mr Nagasaki overheard him singing.

"New song?"

Akihiko was surprised but not responding until finished.

"It doesn't sound right."

Nagasaki took a look at the lyrics and then looked at Akihiko while handing it back to him.

"It seems a little dark more so than you sing"

"Oh..."

"Maybe Takami might be able to do it. Its more his kind of music"

Akihiko looked down and fell in deep thought and after a short minute he looked at Mr Nagasaki.

"I'll try...please let me try I might be able to hit the notes"

"No we don't need you trying too hard for a song and plus it's not your kind of music"

"C'mon please listen if I can't get it right then I'll let Takami sing is that ok?"

".....mmm"

Mr Nagasaki looked at Akihiko for a while then let a smirk take his face.

"Fine but you better get it right or that's Takami's song understood?"

"Yes siry bob"

Akihiko began practicing more and more and and day slowly past by. It was a rainy day and Akihiko and the band got the notes and prepared for the practice. Akihiko saw Aika walk in and wave at Akihiko. Akihiko smiled but stopped and smiled again once her boyfriend arrived. Akihiko sighed and the boys chuckled because of Akihiko's jealousy. Everyone sat and Akihiko stood on the practice stage waiting for his moment. Aika looked at Akihiko ready to listen to his song.

"This song is called Diary Of Jane"

Everyone sat in shock as they never heard Akihiko sing that way before. Even the boys looked at Akihiko like he'd changed dramatically. Akihiko with a tear on his face ran away. The rain came down like a storm and Akihiko couldn't see where he was going and bumped into a stranger. The stranger was accompanied by a group of other males with tattoos and scars whom were laughing though it seemed at Akihiko.

"Why don't you watch where ya goin"

One of the strangers said

"Yea...that hurt how is this pain gonna be repaid....oh yea we seem a little short on money so in turn for our inconvenience we need some money."

Akihiko looked at the group of strangers but the rain got in his eyes and he quickly looked down.

"H-how much..."

Akihiko said being beaten by the rain.

"How much ya got?"

"Let's just go somewhere dry and we can talk"

Akihiko said as the strangers surrounded him

"How do we know you won't run away?"

Another one of the strangers asked Akihiko.

"L-listen guys I don't want trouble ok? Please let's just talk"

They slap Akihiko in his face. Akihiko almost immediately begins fighting the group. One of the strangers hit Akihiko with a strange object knocking in the back of the head but failing to knock him out.

"I guess we'll just beat you up and take it by force"

The group brutally beats Akihiko tossing him the heavy rain. Akihiko tried to get a look at his possible killers but their faces were block by large rain coats and hats that lays under the hood on their head. They tied Akihiko up and questioned him about how did he get this much money not knowing he was famous. Akihiko spits blood in the strangers face. They continue to stomp him again and again. After they finish they run away with Akihiko's money. Hours later Akihiko is found brutally beaten,broken down, bruised, crying, bleeding and wounded badly.
