Eddie and Nina both woke up in the hospital, their rooms separate but near eachother. Fabian, Amber, and Joy were waiting in there for Nina to wake up and once she did, they practically cheered.

"Nina!" Fabian embraced Nina and eventually, she hugged him back.

"Where's Eddie? Where are the others? Are they okay?" Nina flooded them with these questions.

"Calm down, Nina," a Joy chuckled. "They're all in the other room. Eddie happened to pass out as well."

"Jerome's not here though," Amber informed. "He's wrapping everything up at the crime scene..."

"Crime scene?" Nina repeated.

"Daniel's actually getting arrested," Fabian explained. "Serves him right."

"So, is there gonna be like a trial or anything for him?" Nina asked.

"That's not what you should be worried about right now, Nina," Joy responded. "You should be happy to be alive. You should be happy that we're all alive."

Nina glanced over at Fabian who knew exactly what she was thinking. And Nina read by his expression that Fabian hadn't told them.

"What?" Joy inquired.

"KT didn't..." Nina muttered.

"She stepped in to save Jerome," Fabian added with a heavy sigh.

At that moment, the room fell silent.

Meanwhile, Patricia and Alfie stood in Eddie's room, waiting for the moment when he'd finally wake up. He opened his eyes to them beside his bed, and that was when Patricia knelt right down to him and kissed him.

Alfie cleared his throat regarding how long they kissed. Patricia stood straight up and raised her eyebrows at him.

"Hey, I'm not saying there isn't a time for that," Alfie explained quickly, "I'm just saying I'm here too...And thanks, by the way for...you know, saving my life."

"Anytime," Eddie responded. He continued, "Hey, is Nina around? I should speak with her."

"She's in another room," Patricia told him. "I'll ask the nurse if it's okay-"

"Nah," Eddie retaliated, standing up from the bed. "Let's just go."

Patricia and Alfie shrugged and led Eddie to Nina's room where Fabian, Joy, and Amber still stood around Nina's bed. Eddie went over to Nina's bedside, and before he knew it, Nina was pulling him down into a tight hug.

While she had the chance, she whispered into his ear, "I'm sorry. I think I lost my powers."

"I lost mine too, so-" Eddie whispered back.

They separated, and Nina could see clearly that Eddie was telling the truth. And so it was on that preceding night that both the Osirion and Chosen One had lost their powers. Nina had given hers up to save Jerome, and Eddie had given his up in order to save Alfie. And that was that.

Jerome was at the gatehouse where Daniel was subdued in handcuffs in the back of a police car, and several officers surveyed the scene. One officer was questioning Jerome outside.

"So, there were other witnesses here?" he asked.

"Yes, but you needn't concern yourself with them," Jerome explained. "We all know what happened. And what happened is what I've told you. He's tried to kill us, kidnap us, terrorize us. And I know him better than anyone; I'm his cousin for Pete's sake. I know how insane he is. I know what he'll do if you don't arrest him. And I'm begging you please, my friends and I have had enough. I have had enough."
