"So there is 6 sheets that you have to make sure are signed an-"

"And I have to sign as well." I finished for him.

Shawn turned and smiled at me.

"Well I guess there isn't something you don't know how to do."

I smiled back.

"I actually paid attention during the walk-through." I replied before stepping down into the loud pump house that housed the pumps for Mondo Monsoon.

When we walked over to the large water ride, Dylan had tried to tell me what I needed to do to open. I quickly told him I knew what to do but appreciated his input and attempt to help.

As I walked through the tangle of pipes and large pumps, I glanced over at Dylan.

Who was watching me.

He gave me a little smirk.

Quickly, I turned back looking for the clipboards that have the sign off sheets.

Oh my goodness.

I caught him looking at me.

"He just watching you to make sure sign all the sheets." I thought, shaking my head to myself slightly.

Turning my attention back to the sheets, I quickly went through, counting off how many I signed.

"And 6." I said to myself even though I could barely hear over the pumps. I turned from the sixth clipboard and jogged up the small set of stairs.

"Lets go." I said to Dylan leaving him in the dust, not wanting to give him time to ask about my little peak at him. I walked back towards the large water ride.

I heard a pair of quick foot steps as Dylan jogged to catch up.

"Jeez, are you in a rush or something?" he asked.

"Of course. We still have to check the coffin, fire extinguishers and test ride." I said glancing over at him.

"We have..." he looked at his watch, "23 minutes before we have to have everything done and the paper turned in."

"I know," holding up my own watch to him. "But I want to test ride." I finished, looking at him with a wide smile.

He smiled back, "Well lets go then." Dylan picked up his pace and made his strides wider.

"Wait! Your legs are longer than mine!" I yelled.

He was already a good 6-7 feet in front of me. I had to run to catch up. Even then, I was still behind him.

"Dylan!"

He turned around, walking backwards, a wide grin spread acrossed his cute face.

"Did I just say his face was cute?" I thought. He didnt give me time to think about it.

"Come on slow-poke." he teased, "We still have stuff to check over."

"This one is good!" Dylan yelled from over by the gate.

We were checking the fire extinguishers and he had been nice enough to offer to go check the one furthest from where we were.

"Okay come on back. That was the last thing to check." I yelled back and he started to jog back over.

I stuck the paper in the coffin and closed the lid. I reached around to unclasp my hip-pack and placed it on the lid. As I took my hat off, Dylan came through the gate and shut it behind him.
