Alex's pov~

Did I really just do that? No, nope I didn't, everything's fine. I'm going to walk into camp, not look at anyone and just head straight for my tent, I sped walked as fast as I could to my tent because let's be real, who runs?

I let out a sigh of relief as I made it uninterrupted. Right I'm going to sleep this off and when I wake up it will hardly even cross my mind. I told myself.

"Alex, can you stop being lazy and get up!" I heard an irritating voice say, coming from the entrance of then tent.

"Felix, I wouldn't annoy me right now if I were you" I murmured groggily.

"Alex I'm doing this for your sake, Pan wants you out there." He explained walking over to me.

"Well then I'm definitely not getting up. Bye bye now."

"You've left me no choice" Felix sighed. A few seconds later he grabbed me and hurled me over his shoulder.

"Umm no! Put me down! I'm so getting you back for this Felix."

"I was counting on it" He chuckled.

He set me down behind some of the lost boys while the others were dancing around the fire, almost like animals, after some time the rest of the boys joined in thanks to Pan's pipe. I shuffled far back into the shadows and out of sight. Trying to ignore the melody intruding into my mind.

Pan walked smugly towards me.

"You're really going to put this act up again Alex? you can hear it just like everyone else can, you're lost, just accept it

"You're really going to put this act up again Alex? you can hear it just like everyone else can, you're lost, just accept it. You're an orphan now."

"And become one of your little minions that you can control? I'm good thanks. I'm not lost I know exactly who I am" I spoke turning away from him.

Alex....Alex I heard an eery voice whisper, I knew exactly where it was coming from, Dead mans peak.

"Alex?" Pan questioned looking at me concerned.

Without a response I thought of Dead mans peak and evidently ended up there a few seconds later, I was immediately met by a shiver down my spine and goosebumps on my arms, it was like my body was trying to tell me that I should leave, but before I could consider getting out of there I was faced with the shadow. Pan's shadow.

"Why am I here?"

I asked swallowing the lump in my throat.

"I called you here to tell you what your purpose has been here on Neverland since the day you were born."

The shadow hissed.

"Enlighten me."

"Your mum, the crash, what do you remember about that day?"

"Not much." I said simply, not wanting to talk about it.

The shadow kept quite motioning for me to go on.

"What do you want me to say? She died, I lived and unfortunately it wasn't the other way around." I sighed realising just how much that frustrated me.

"Someone pulled you out of the crash, it was Pan, we've always known who you are and who you're destined to be, believe it or not you're a very special person here on Neverland Alexandra, the Indians had a prophecy about you and ever since then Pan has been keeping an eye on you, mainly for his own benefits of course. He came to see me when you first showed up here, I told him who you were and how powerful you'd become which made him furious because now he knows the only person stronger than him is on the island, but you're also the only person that can save him."

"If he saved me then how come I can't remember it?"

I asked, that being only one of the many questions running through my mind right now.

"Let me ask you Alex, how long have you believed in Peter Pan?"

The shadow asked knowing the answer but asking nevertheless.

"Ummm..ever since I can remember, it was a nice idea to think about sometimes, I hated my life my in my world..I hated every second of it."

I said truthfully.

"That's the thing about Pan if he goes to your world and a believer see's him he has to wipe their memories afterwards, it's sad really, because you would never remember that you've seen him, but in your case you had to remember at least a bit of him just to ensure you would keep believing"

"But I don't understand why am I important? What have I got to do with any of this? What am I prophesied to do?" I said in one breath overflowing with questions.

"In order for this island to be saved you have to..."

The shadow was cut off by a loud breeze, and in seconds Pan appeared in front of it.

"I think she's heard enough."
Pan spat his eyes gradually getting darker.

"No let him finish, I think I deserve to know" I spoke trying to keep calm.

"You don't have a choice! Leave before I get angry." Pan shouted his eyes now consumed with darkness.

I stood my ground and didn't move an inch.

"You know what Alex, I'm not in a particularly good mood, and you don't want test me on how angry I can get. I suggest you run."

He waved his hand and two leather cuffs appeared on my wrists as if one wasn't enough...really? I instantly felt weaker my arms and legs feeling limp.

"No cheating, I just want to watch you even attempt to escape me." He smirked.
