Alex's pov~"Ugh what a cliché." I said lowly trying to find the humour in what the fairy had said.
"Alex it's okay to admit you're not okay sometimes you know, you basically just found out your life could be over sooner than you thought and you're seriously just going to brush it off like it's nothing?"
"It's fine, I'm fine." I smiled weakly standing up and walking towards the forest, no destination I just needed to walk.
I looked at the ground as I walked not wanting to face a single thing, I didn't want to do anything but concentrate on the steps I was taking, I can't fall apart not now. Of course this coincidentally meant I walked straight into someone's chest causing me to fall to the ground like an idiot.
"Watch your step there love." Pan said a devilish grin on his face as I looked up.
"Need some help?" He chuckled holding out his hand.
"Why can't you ever just leave things and me alone!" I spat standing up myself.
"Where's the fun in that?" He pouted. "Besides I've come here for a purpose."
"Enlighten me." I growled.
"A little birdie told me you know about me taking over Pan's body so I've come to make a deal with you seeing as I have no element of surprise or fun in this situation anymore you can get your precious Pan back if you do something for me in return."
"Why would you leave Pan when you're getting everything you wanted?" I stated crossing my arms.
"Quite frankly watching you suffer when you least expect it is way more entertaining." He smirked.
"You knew Pan wouldn't have killed me when the time came, otherwise you wouldn't have taken action like this, but what makes you think he'll suddenly have a change of heart if you let him go?" I asked trying to fill in all the missing pieces before agreeing to anything.
"Come now Alex, we both know you'd sacrifice yourself for the people you love any day, you have proved time and time again you have very little value for your own life especially since dearest Molly left you. Sad really."
"She did not leave me you son of a-" I shouted walking towards him ready to throw a punch.
"Oooo I've hit a nerve I see" he scoffed stepping back. "Do we have a deal Alexandra?"
"What do you want in return" I spoke through gritted teeth.
"You'll find out when the time comes. Unless you want me to stay with Pan for eternity and slowly but surely turn every last person on this island against you because that can be arranged."
The air was still and both of us were silent for a minute.
"Fine. We have a deal." I spoke up not breaking eye contact once trying to act all intimidating.
"The next time you see me you won't be so confident Alexandra." With once last smirk the shadow separated himself from Pan which looked excruciatingly painful if you ask me, the dark silhouette flew far off into the distance before Pan's limp body even fell to the ground.
I rushed over to him without hesitation.
"Pan?" I whispered hovering over him.
His eyes fluttered open and I let out a sigh of relief when I saw his eyes had returned to the same vibrant green you couldn't easily forget.
"Right I don't know what's going on or what's happened but I do know that I'm loving the position we're in right now." Pan smiled. "Although..."
My breath hitched as I was rolled over in an instant him now hovering over me.
"Better." His smirk more prominent than ever.
"I see you're you again then." I scoffed.
"Don't act like you haven't missed me love."
"Well you were kind of possessed by a shadow that's despises my existence and wants me dead so it's not really hard to beat that and also-"
"Shhhh" Pan whispered cutting me off, his hand slowly trailed from my waist to my cheek his thumb running over my bottom lip.
