Chapter 3:Computer Bug

So Dawn has returned home to Earth and her friends couldn't be happier, but something isn't as it seems with Dawn.

Odd's POV

I watched Dawn as she slept, which I know sounds weird, but that's because we were all suspicious of her. For all we knew this was another one of Xana's traps and he was trying to destroy us with her. She started to stir slowly and then she opened her eyes lightly.

"Odd?" She asked when she caught me staring at her.

"How are you feeling?" She shrugged her shoulders and frowned.

"I know you must hate me for devirtualizing you. But I didn't have a choice Odd, it was either me and Lyoko or the entire human race, I couldn't let that happen." I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her.

"It's okay, you're back that's all that matters to me." She smiled lightly and that's when I saw a look of pain stretch across her face as she gripped her chest.

"Please go get Jeremy." I moved away from her and out the door without looking back, something was definitely wrong with her. But it might be something completely different than what we thought. I rushed into Jeremy's room, seeing everyone was there.

"Hey Odd ever heard of knocking? Why are you out of breath?" Jeremy asked jokingly.

"She's awake." They all jumped up. "Something isn't right though, she's sick." They frowned.

"Don't you think that maybe it's just from when she was destroyed on Lyoko, maybe she needs time to heal." Aelita stated.

"No, she asked me personally to get Jeremy."

"Then what are we waiting for?" He asked and started heading out the door with Aelita and the others. When we got back to her room she was on the floor panting and breathing heavily.

"Dawn?!" Aelita said rushing towards her, but Dawn simply put her hand up to stop her.

"Jeremy... there's a bug... in my coding... it hurts..." Jeremy rushed over and looked at her necklace which we had learned before she disappeared on Lyoko was her virtual coding when she was on Earth and her human coding when she was in Lyoko, which means if it's messed up here that means something must have went wrong when she came back from Lyoko.

"We have to get her to the lab so I can do an analysis." Jeremy said and I went to pick her up.

"What are you all doing in here?" I heard the snotty voice of Sissy.

Great just what we needed right now someone who has the power to keep us at the school if she wanted to.

"We were waiting for you to go get some brain cells." Dawn said getting up smiling brightly. She was fighting through the pain.

"Why you little, my father is going to hear about this." And with that she stormed off to find her father.

"Let's go before it gets worse." She stated once Sissy was gone and I could see the pain across her face. It was unbearable to watch.

"Alright." Jeremy nodded and we all started heading towards the door that led outside and finally towards the park. But that's when I heard another voice come from behind us.

"Miss Nova, I'd like to speak to you about the statement you made to my daughter." Dawn turned around and I could tell she no longer had the energy to keep the brave face anymore.

"Please forgive me sir, but I don't have time for this right now." He looked like he was about to make a remark when lightning hit his and Sissy's backs and they collapsed to the ground unconscious.
