Chapter 36- Waking from this nightmare

I watched as Abi took down the stuff she would need to clean the wounds up, I noticed tears in her eye's and move some hair away from her beautiful brown eye's, “Hey what's wrong?” I ask, she would turn her head our eye's locked instantly.

Abi shook her head seeming to not want to talk about it, I sigh looking down feeling the burn once she had put medicine on the wounds and I flinched.

“How did this happen to you?” She would ask keeping her eye's on what she was doing helping with the shirt as I let it slide from my arms, so I start telling her what happened from the start.

I could hear explosions outside Hogwarts my mind was only on Abi and the children, sure James wasn't my kid but I took him up as my own though, kids running and trying to get to the safest place I closed my eye's as memories kept coming back to me from the first war here,I was protecting Abi holding her near me throwing spells at Death Eaters, I open my eye's to my surprise stood none other than Tom Riddle's son.

“Well if it isn't A Weasley aren't you the one that is supposed to be dead?” he asks.

“I had something to live for back home, and its staying that away.” I hiss as I brought out my wand and I was standing there fighting, I fell to the ground in pain noticing blood on the ground, Harry appeared and took over, I had got took the the Great Hall away from it all, from there everything just went to a blur I didn't remember anything else until Abi and George had showed up.

Abi was now in tears I bring her in for a hug, she clutched onto my shoulders I could feel her tears on my bare chest as I ran my fingers down her smooth red hair, I tend to carry her up in our room that we shared at the Burrow I wouldn't stop looking into her eye's I had laid her on the bed and laid next to her my arm around her she stroked my arm with her finger tip and smiles sadly.

I couldn't help but to think this was all my fault for happening, all the wars started to happen as soon as I came home to be with her, I hate living this nightmare I wish it would all just stop, Abi fell asleep quickly I stroke her arm kissing her forehead I couldn't sleep I kept watching her sleep.

I woke up seeing bright lights I was in a white room my family standing before me, I was confused to where I was at, “Where am I?” I ask trying to open my eyes fully.

Mum walked up hugging me in tears, “Oh Fred.. your okay! We thought we lost you!” She said between sobs.

“What are you talking about? You seen me last night after I got home..” I tell them.

“Fred , you've been in a coma since the war..” She announced.

My eye's went big I look around, “Where's Abi?!” I panicked not quiet sure what was going on did I dream all this? I wasn't sure how I ended up in the coma I was more worried about Abi, Hermonie stared at me tears in her eye's.

“She hasn't woken up yet, she's in a coma just like you.” She says as Ron put his arm around her and she cried on his shoulder.
