It was 9:00, but I couldn't care less. I took a taxi to the hotel. The employees there knew me pretty well, and even the owner was a friend of mine, so I knew where his office was. He better be there.
I told his secretary that I wanted to talk to him, and she allowed me in, without a hitch, of course.
Knocking on the door, I heard him say, "Come in." I did, before he could complete his sentence.
"Ohhh! Harry! Good to see you! Long time no see, my man! How you doing?" He came up to me, and we shook hands together.
"Not very well, actually. I need you to do me a favor, and I want you to do it right now, without arguments!" I demanded.
"Well, anything for you. Go ahead. Sit. Let's talk." He offered.
We sat down on the couch, and I tried to look angry and tough, but actually I was just tired from all this shit. "I want you to give Amanda her job back."
"What? Oh heavens! I can't do that, Harry." He said, with his hand laid on his chest.
"Listen to me, clearly, sir. You can either do as I command, or I can easily tweet badly about your hotel. And you know what will happen, if a famous star, like me, tweets something not so good about anything, right?" I smirked.
He sighed, rubbed his hands together, thinking. "I'll think about it."
"No! I need an answer right now, right here. Come on." I declared.
"Fine. I'll call her." He pulled his phone out of his front pocket.
"Oh, and I do not want her to know, that I asked you to do this for her, got it?" I said. if she finds out, she won't work here anymore, and she might hate me even more.
"Ok. She's not answering. Her phone must be off." He said.
"Keep on trying until she answers." I said. He tried for four times, and she still hasn't turned her phone on, so I asked him to try tomorrow.
And with that, I was one step closer for having her happy again. I just wish I can directly make her happy.
